  • It's a new challenge for me to pretend nothing's happening as some really loud fleeting T comes on as I'm talking to somebody.
    When I ran track in high school, ice was the answer to any and every injury. Today, I know icing my ears would just be silly.
    One isn't conscious in sleep. Nonexistence must feel that way too- but there's no feeling there. It's scary to the conscious person like me.

    I don't think it is scary to be in a dreamless sleep and that is why I don't fear death cause I am sure it is just like that: a dreamless sleep. I am much more afraid of life and all the relentless suffering there can be in life.

    I'm only two months shy of being 21. It's embarrassing to have to ask people to repeat themselves multiple times because I can't hear them.

    My grandpa who is 73 years old has better hearing and eye vision than I do a 28 year old. Where will I be at 73? Probably mute, deaf, blind, etc or might not be alive at all..
    Lady Gaga's The Fame is 10 years old today. My flamboyant 10 y-o self definitely dealt a good amount of hearing damage when it came out.
    never saw a doctor for my anxiety... afraid to think what meds will do to me but i think it's time to try before I ruin another school term.
    My brother's a mumbler. I keep telling him he's making fun of my hidden hearing loss by mumbling all the time.
    Had T for a minute, I think it has had a consistent loudness. I'll note if it gets any worse in my lifetime, within 40-60 years at best.
    how long can I have constant headaches before it should be concerning? I'm drinking water, and laying down never helps. :/
