  • Everyone I know offline with T is dealing with it just fine, yet it makes me go crazy and not wanting to live like this.
No sleep today at all and the thumping bass sound is back again. Hope it does not develop into the dreaded low hum. I hate living like this.
Lowest tinnitus volume in ages and raging headache.

@DaveFromChicago Experienced that in the early months, then this "effect" disappeared and had the ringing and migraines/headaches at the same time relentlessly, yesterday headache quietened the T, and now I don't have pain, but the ringing is up again.
Not coping well with high frequency T at all, but I absolutely loathe the really low tone one. Horrid.
Don't know where to turn to with the depression and anxiety hugely exacerbated by tinnitus. I don't have the best experience with therapy.
Living with people with age-related hearing loss while you have tinnitus is really challenging at times.
The low freq shit currently feels like someone is hitting my brain with a rubber hammer. Not loud at least, but still very distracting.
I miss being able to control what I want to hear from the outside world. Earbuds probably did me in, but I miss them so much.
I'm getting fleeting T more and more frequently, but the episodes are way shorter (3-5s). Can this mean anything?
@Steph1710 If I recall correctly, you mentioned that you will have surgery to treat your PT. Is it not happening because of NHS?

Oh, @Steph1710, I see and I'm so sorry. Your experience with healthcare is awfully similar to what I'm experiencing in my country. I hope that after this much issue, you will be able to get, at least, your PT fixed. Virtual hugs to you.
Why is it so hard to understand for outsiders, that when it comes to tinnitus, "hair of the dog" approach is not a risk I'm willing to take.
I really should just stop comparing my cognitive performance to how it used to be pre-T. It's absolutely depressing, but rather futile.
Baby steps: lately shower seems to spike me much less than before. Took more than a year and hopefully not jinxing it.
Low tone is quieter again, but UHF sound is nauseatingly shrill and metallic today. Third one is just there, being as annoying as always.
Low tone was gone for 2 days and now it's back. At least I would like to know what the heck triggers it.
Intermittent or constant tones are better? I've been dealing with my intermittent tones much worse lately than with the constant one.
Studying hundreds of pages for my exams seems absolutely impossible with tinnitus. Nice to experience my education going down the drain.
I feel like I'm losing my cognitive skills every day. Don't know whether it's due to T itself or the extreme lack of sleep.
