@Steph1710 I'm so glad that you are better. Have you considered to go to an endocrinologist to check out your hormones? Maybe it's not a coincidence that with hormon changes, your T is so quiet.
Low hum is a different kind of hell. It's not getting better. I'm just so tired, scared and hopeless.
Everything sucks T-wise, but at least it turned out that my dog doesn't have cancer.

@Christiaan Thanks for asking :) Yes, she is alright. We thought that she had mammary tumor, but thankfully false alarm. She is getting old and moody though, just turned 9.
I am failing to stay calm with the low hum. Nothing masks it at night at a level which is not damaging for my UHF tinnitus.

It also distorts the rain sounds which I occasionally use as sound enrichment. This is more like a feeling rather than "just" a sound. God, this is awful.
The dreaded low hum is back after almost a year. Trying to stay calm and hoping that as always, it goes away in a couple of weeks.
Can sleep get better after almost a year? I don't know how long I can function on 2-3 hours of sleep. Nothing seems to help.
My knee started to crack a few days ago every step I take. 1. it's oh so annoying 2. worried that it's something more serious 3. backpain
Yesterday I had a miraculous 7 hours of sleep, T was the least intrusive in ages. Of course it didn't last.
Right now the intermittent sound irritates me more than the constant one, even though it's pretty quiet. God help me, if it gets louder.
Every day I go to bed hoping that finally I can get proper sleep and then I don't. I really don't know what to do.
Does anyone have any tips how to stay asleep? Falling asleep is OK, but I wake up like every half an hour. Meds, natural stuff, anything?
I haven't had a good sleep in 9 months. I think I'd be a lot less miserable if I could sleep at least.
Older tinnitus is sh.t as well, but having this rhythmic, cooing/distant ambulance like sound which is really hard to explain, is terrible.
I miss not having to be aware of my ears all the freaking time. T is not worse, but I'm getting more and more depressed.
My first try with a basic push lawn mower was an utter failure. Our garden really is a challenge for it.
Don't know why, maybe the weather, but I haven't been sleeping lately again. Wonderful what a difference 4-5 h. can make compared to 2-3.
