    Paxil for Tinnitus?

I would recommend NOT starting Paxil, as that is unlikely to help you sleep better, in fact it is likely that it would make you more anxious. If you're going to take an SSRI, don't choose Paxil. Don't take psychiatric drugs unless prescribed by a psychiatrist.

Retigabine (Trobalt, Potiga) — General Discussion

I'm pretty sure CBZ can change how you metabolize other medications, especially other antiepileptics, you might want to be extra careful that having both in your system doesn't increase (or decrease) the effects of either medication. I'd ask your neuro about that first, definitely.

Argh, I Feel Jealous and a bit... Stuck

well, you don't necessarily know that you will never be able to get rid of your T. perhaps you might have to cope with it for an extended portion of your life, but since none of us can really predict what will surely happen days, months, or years from now, it remains a complete possibility that...

Habituation of “Self” v. Habituation of “Body” ~ c. 58 Years of Tinnitus

Yeah, when the reactivity is set off, there's a whole cascade of tortuous sensations and feelings that you really can only just "brace yourself" for...but when the sensations don't quit and you can't brace anymore and you're shaking and shivering, well, you know the rest... Some "reaction" indeed!

    Taking pills and psychoactive support

uh... my post was directed towards @nills , the creator of this thread. if you read the original post, he talked down to people who were using or considering using medications to help tinnitus or tinnitus distress and essentially said that those who took meds were "sheep", and he extolled us to...

    Taking pills and psychoactive support

sorry i'm just sensitive because my tinnitus was caused by medication that i took to treat stubborn depression that wouldn't respond to other options. a lot of people know that medications aren't the safest and can really cause issues but i mean, you have to try some things some times. taking...

    Taking pills and psychoactive support

because unnecessarily judgemental and emotionally manipulative "calls of action" to abandon all medications on a support forum that lots of newbies see for the first time every day, should be confronted.

    Taking pills and psychoactive support

this thread is super condescending. don't call people out on their "smallness" and don't make that tired, obfuscated argument that extrapolates to and judges the personal character of those who choose to pursue or not to pursue pharmacological intervention. here at TT many ppl weigh out their...

Autifony Therapeutics Phase II Study for AUT00063, for the Treatment of Hearing Loss and Tinnitus

"moderate to severe depression or generalized anxiety" yeah if the depression/anxiety was mild you probably either have a great handle on the reaction to your severe tinnitus, or you have mild tinnitus
