  • Two days of prednisone complete- ear is less full..I'm not hearing the low drone/car driving,by last night or this morning. Fingers crossed
Ears are feeling a bit clogged. Volume and intensity seem to change by the minute. Might try Gabapentin for the H.

Full ear sensation is an indication that ears got hurt. Normally it goes away after 3-12 months.

Considering taking prednisone... my three year old screamed in my ear.

If I were you, I would take it. It could have side effects, but the risk seems to be worth it.
4 months tomorrow.Feels like my body is vibrating from low hum.I can feel my heart BEATING! Sometimes high pitches get lost in the daily.

Then I had head T in February, which seems to have gone away completely. The more recent low grumble that sometimes pulses (this is still a quiet room situation) - started around two weeks ago after stretching. I'm not sure what to make of it. Hoping it fades away but no luck so far. So... in general, I wish I was hearing less sound. A more direct route to habituation?

Honestly, it's hard to remember exactly what it was like in a quiet space three months ago, but I know I have had quieter times than right now.

I've had that too. It proves that a hiss is a less intense high-pitch. It looks like you are slowly making progress (your T has been fading and so it ought to continue to fade). Hopefully that low grumble will also begin resolving itself and soon.
Anyone else feel like their emotions are ALL OVER the place with their T? Days where I forget about it for hours-and then days like today.

Many people here can't forget about it for more than 30 seconds. When T is loud as soon as one doesn't think about it for 30 seconds, one thinks "what's that noise"... The fact that you get those good days is an encouraging sign.

Sometimes I don't notice it at all, wonder where my T went and it comes back to my attention... those moments are the worst. But yes, I do experience this frequently.

Today I took my three little guys biking. I have a 2, 5, and 7 year old. Between the wind, crying, etc. I didn't really notice it. Step into my house- BOOM. Today, my left ear has taken the lead roll in my tinnitus journey. A nice change. Lol ‍♂️ Sounds like someone left the water on in the sink. And my original pitch (although faint and no longer a pure tone) still fighting to get in the game.
Had a moment of near silence today. If it can happen once, it can happen again.

This is the hope I try to live by as well. I've had one moment of complete silence, and by now many very short moments of near silence... it's possible, I just need to be patient.

Exactly where I'm at. Maybe the next three months will bring more moments like that one. What an amazing feeling to have silence... even if it was short lived.

I try to keep in mind that progress isn't linear. Just because one moment may be worse than another doesn't mean it hasn't improved overall - as long as there's some kind of weekly/monthly progress overall there's a lot of hope. Hope our next silent moments come soon :)
Tinnitus is back in my head. . Feeling a little bit hopeless.

Did something cause it to come back?

Life has been a little stressful over the last few days and I lowered my Xanax at night (for sleeping). That's about all the change I can think of. And I've been wearing hearing aids on and off for a few days.
