    Glaucoma and Latanoprost

Hi @Ed209, I’m a lot older than you. I also have ocular hypertension. I’ve had laser treatment twice, but it didn’t resolve the problem. Latanoprost is unlikely to cause worse eye floaters. I became l obsessed with the veins in my eyes! Sheer anxiety in my case. It’s so easy to become scared...

    Suicidal

A round peg in a square hole gives room for manoeuvre! How could you possibly be a disappointment when you have such a great sense of humour and self-deprecation. I think you are a sweetie (pun intended) @Damocles.

Hi. I wonder what your profession is @Damocles? You write so eloquently. I’m still laying off the Werther's!

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

I asked if I could use Lenire if I had hearing aids and the answer was in the negative. I think they are still moving the goalposts a bit. They are very nice people but I spent a lot of money in airfare from the U.K. and hotel accommodation. There seems to be a very mixed response in outcome...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

I went to Dublin last year but was refused treatment as I have high frequency hearing loss. Neuromod had not reported that this treatment would be unsuitable and only made it known post my trip. There are other treatments on the way so don’t despair.

What Do Doctors Need to Understand About Tinnitus?

My tinnitus got worse. GP’s comment: “I wouldn’t like to have it, it drives you mad”!! The usual ‘advice’ was that you have hearing loss so get hearing aids.

I Feel the Need to Vent

Hey Ed, not all of you is broken so hold onto that. It’s a huge betrayal for your Mom and probably triggered her deepest fears about something no longer being a secret. You can help by just being alongside her, hard as that may be. Sometimes it takes decades to work through trauma sadly. @Ed209

I Feel the Need to Vent

Hi Ed You are a wonderful compassionate man. To be targeted in that spiteful way is beyond belief. I work as a counselling Therapist and I’m required to keep notes about sessions. It is not necessary to write up verbatim. What is omitted is part of the confidentially contract that is agreed at...

    In Loving Memory of Allan1967

Oh I’m so devastatingly sorry to hear this. He posted his photo outside the Heritage Centre in Dublin and was hoping that Lenire would work for him. R.I.P Allan. Thank you Markku and Hazel.

    Horrible New Noises

Hi Allan, yes most of them did. Still have the original T with added hissing, thank you Universe! It’s hard to describe T but the most scary noise has gone. It’s still severe quite often which is why I went to Neuromod. As reported I have hearing loss so no good for me. I know you are having a...

Coping with the Guilt — My Tinnitus Is My Fault

I think you regret your choices Allan. It’s part of the ‘if only’ way of thinking. If only you had or hadn’t made a particular decision. Somehow a belief that the outcome would have been different. Every day choice has to made and sometimes we get it right. Hugs to you. Eve @Allan1967

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

@Allan1967 I’m devastated for you Allan. I have the photo of you outside the Heritage Centre in my mind. Is your tinnitus worse because of Lenire or could it be the alarms in your home? Eve
