  • Still going strong. I don't understand how my brain can't focus on another thing than tinnitus. I just want it being lower
    Sentinel
I'd like to develop my focus to the point where it only enters my conscious awareness if I let it. Some people get to that point but it seems like a Jedi force power and I feel like a youngling tbh.

I'm great at focusing on stuff IRL that needs doing, but senses are a bit different.
Ok i took half of bromazepam, my tinnitus is so low, only one ear and one high pitch tone. Easy to cover ...
Hey tinnitus, i like you but sry i see you like a brother. I don't want to be in a long relationship with you. I hope you understand my bro.
    BrOKeN_1
That made me laugh. And I 100% agree :) Move along bro!
2 days ago, it was the 2 years mark. T improved a little bit but had some step back. Keep living
I know, my thought is why doesn't the medical field find help for this. If a researcher truly experienced this and went into remission I think they would be more empathetic.
    Bill Bauer
What matters is not what the researchers want, but what whoever is funding the research wants. A more important factor is the perceived difficulty of the problem (and the implied likelihood of success of the project). T is being generated by the brain, and the human brain is supposed to be the most complex object in the known universe...

Actually just to find something who lower tinnitus will be a great thing. Don't worry for future, our world is so loud, teenagers already have bad hearing. Science and medical field will need to find a solution to this...
    It's get so loud it's unbelievable !
    Bill Bauer
Might you be doing something that is interfering with your recovery/healing?
    Regal
Not really but maybe covid is responsible for this. And it's only sometimes during evening after dinner
Sunday and monday morning, i had 5 minutes silence ! What a relief ! That was so long time, i didn't have that chance !
    I got covid-19 :)
    Regal
Just like a cold, nothing more. I don't know yet but i think my little niece or during travel for holidays. Maybe tinnitus little bit louder than usual but it's ok.
    Kriszti
Are you okay? Have you had a cold since T onset? Does COVID affect your T more than a "regular" respiratory illness? Get better soon!
    Regal
Yes i'am, thx for your concerns. Tinnitus at full blast like every late evening, maybe more than usual. I have covid but no heavy symptoms and it'll be gone soon. I didn't have anything from my respiratory system, i always breathe clear nothing up there, little bit sore throat at start that's all.
Louder than ever but hearings aids is helping a lot. I just need to accept than my previous life is gone forever. This is the one i get now.
    Lilah
    Are you using the maskers?
    Regal
No, i don't like it. Just to hear louder with hearing aids is helping. I can't find my tinnitus tones, i have so much of it
Was ok for a long time but doctors fucked up again by changing treatment again. Doctors are a bunch of wankers.
I'm currently looking at Nicotinamide Riboside 300mg/day. Is that enough ? any feedback ?
    Tweedleman
There's a thread on NR you can check out. Most here take 300-600mg. I'm only taking 300 myself. It's supposed to take months to notice effects. I'm 2 months in and can't say it's done anything for me yet.
    Regal
Ty for the feedback. What about Resveratrol ? Do you take it too ?
    Tweedleman
No I didn't try it. Right now I just take NR, Astaxanthin, and NAC.
I want to fight but sometimes u need recover to be able to fight again. Bad period right now, will finish to recover soon or later. Fight !!
Well hello guys, still tinnitus at full blast. Little bit sick his days (not covid-19 fortunately)
Got osteopathy on friday (started on july 19 every 3 weeks), tinnitus louder atm. Neck muscle might be a cause too
At this time, i'm good. I hear it but it's ok... i guess
    LukeYoung
Good stuff regal, that's good habituation.. Its there, it's annoying but it's okay.
Visual snow is getting worst and T is always bad on sunday evening. I feel my t is worst after eating ...
    Regal
I'm not surprise, maximum i resisted was like 2 months. And always one day "rofl if i do one cheat meal, it will be not a problem.." mistake mistake
    Bill Bauer
Two months should have been enough. I suspect it wasn't enough because you have had several cheat meals during those months. Every time you have a cheat meal, you reset the timer, and ensure that you will have cravings in the future.
    Regal
Well i didn't. I will try one more time ;)
    I hear it but i don't care... i hear it but i don't care.... i hear it but i don't care ... i don't care at all !
Visual snow, tinnitus, floaters changed my life forever. Still waiting a treatment, i will not give up ! I will never surrender.
