Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

JohnAdams, I would tend to agree with you, below is my hearing test and my audiologist said that I had minimal hearing loss, I still have some hearing loss mostly in my right ear where my tinnitus is worse and fluctuates the most, from pounding to hardly audible! If their idea of tinnitus with...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

Hi Valeri, I'm still doing okay. It's good to still see some familiar people here and hope you're doing well also. Very excited about this treatment. I hope it's the help we all need.

Just had a look at the thread you started, I wouldn't describe the noise from pressure as a beep but i can see the resemblance to a beeping sound or a tone, you should get the same sort of noise when you bite hard with your jaw by clasping your teeth together.

It seems to be a symptom that most T sufferers have, myself included, I've linked Dr Shores article on my comment where she talks about pressure on neck and jaw muscles manipulating Tinnitus, generally making T louder.

I don't mean to disappoint, but Dr. Shore's device isn't directed at only somatic tinnitus at all, Its mainly directed at subjective and sensory tinnitus, I can understand the confusion in how its stated though, this is a quote from the study notes... Most subjective and sensory tinnitus...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

@R. David Case I've been following this thread since the beginning and I've had a thought, have you bothered to ask any of these people it has helped what type of tinnitus they were experiencing, seems to me from what I've read that most if not all are left with a slight hissing after their...

10% of Women Who Suffer Constant Ringing in Their Ears Attempt Suicide, Study Suggests

This doesn't surprise me as I've read studies suggesting certain noises like a dripping tap or other higher pitched small noises irritate woman more than it does men. What would have been interesting is whether any of the study group had OCD, tinnitus in one ear or both, my wife who's also a...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Thank you, I know you may have covered that before in the thread but the longer it gets the harder it is to cross reference. I will probably try this again in the near future, I'll be sure to let everyone know how I get on. Cheers Rich

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

You just said in a previous comment the following: Please elaborate on what exactly is it, on one hand you say I'm not listening to it loud enough then in another comment you state that "the user does not have to hear and process Tinnitus Mix"??? Which one is it, I'd appreciate a little more...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Can you elaborate on this statement as you just finished telling me that I may not have been listening to Tinnitus Mix loud enough???

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Thanks and I'm glad it helped you, I'm not entirely sure that it did cause any increase in my tinnitus because I hardly had it on any sort of volume, as I said because of my paranoia etc, it was hardly drowning out my tinnitus and my perception of my tinnitus was last measured 4 years ago at...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Yes as I alluded to earlier in this thread. I used the recommended headphones and I'm sure you said in previous comments that as long as you can hear the mix it would still be okay because it still is audible to the brain? So you recommend using it for longer? Have you any further...

I Invented a Sound That Knocked Out My Tinnitus

Hi all, I've just finished three weeks of @R. David Case suggested therapy and have mixed results, the hissing has seemed to have gotten a bit louder, well it seems to be more intrusive and my hearing seems to have got a little more sensitive, I stopped this therapy on Wednesday night which was...
