  • Anyone know if using Noise cancelling at the gym safe for T?

Do you mean ANC? There have been some theories on TT in the past that suggested active noise cancellation headphones/earbuds can increase tinnitus/spikes as if the noise cancellation technology isn't truly lowering the sound energy in your ears. I have some but haven't used much at all except over foam plugs to further reduce car noises in long drive.

yeah ANC, perhaps I'll just use normal foam plugs. My gym is around 70 db so hopefully its not too dangerous
My right ear doesnt click anymore when I swallow water, hoping its a good sign.....and not a bad one

How long did it take to settle down? Was it gradual? Did it resolve on its own?

I took around 2 weeks for the clicks to go away from an ear infection. I finished the antibiotics a few days ago. Compared to the first few days its gone down from a super high pitch noise to a hiss like thing. Idk if it actually improved or I'm getting used to it
Seems like I had good day for once! My ear seems to be having a day off haha

Not easy mate but give yourself time and try not to have repeat noise exposure
So strange noise like this (how non sufferers describe it) can totally change your mind! Ive noticed I get more angry and I dont like it.
