AM-101 Clinical Trial — Participants Updates and Discussion

Hey guys I had disappeared for quite a while, and never delivered a final summary after my two rounds of AM-101. By now, it's been about 9 months since my last injections, and I cannot report any relevant or lasting improvement. Summed up, I would say that I came into the trial with...

    Painkillers and Tinnitus

Thanks for the advice Well, I decided to skip Ibuprofen, but went with half a dose of a mefenamic acid med. That was one week ago. Could not feel any effect in the first two days with regard to T, but am now having a pretty intense spike that has lasted since. Could be related, does not have...

    Painkillers and Tinnitus

Hi there Have been gone for quite a while, but am back with quite an urgent question. I have read many stories and opinions on the effect of various drugs on T. After getting T in 2015, I simply refused to take any drugs. Worked well until today. But now I am facing a problem: One of my finger...

Hi there. Sorry, was gone for a while. It's an up and down for me. It improved a bit since my last post, but the level of intrusiveness is still far beyone baseline. Sucks! Hope you will experience an improvment soon!

AM-101 Clinical Trial — Participants Updates and Discussion

I agree. At least in my case, I am sure that the worsening in T comes from the procedure itself (needle slip & intense suction), not the medicine. Dizziness is a different topic. IF it is related, then it is likely to be an unwanted side effect of the drug.

AM-101 Clinical Trial — Participants Updates and Discussion

Yes, it does concern me as well. Or put less delicately; It scares the crap out of me! I have felt like hungover for two weeks (without a headache though). I already did go for an unplanned checkup last week. They ran a couple of standard tests and as a result, they believe that the vertigo does...

My Story. Feel Like I'm Slowly Losing the Battle.

Hi Karel Very sorry to read about your struggles. I wish you lots of strength! It is hard to believe that a phone call (!) could cause any long-term negative impact. I believe that you have good chances that things will settle over the next days and weeks. I could not agree more. For me, with...

    Better Late Than Never...

Well, to call him an expert is my personal opinion. He is a recognized specialist in this particular area and was recommended to my by both other doctors and fellow T sufferers. He has 20+ years experience, is the president of the country tinnitus association and a co-founder of the only...

    Better Late Than Never...

Dear all After joining the forum last November and many posts since, I feel it's about time to introduce myself. And since it already been 10 months, it is quite a long introduction. I added titles so that it is easier to skip the parts that are not of interest. About me I am male and 30 years...

I have had the same with computer fans and aircon. It settled a bit about 4 weeks after the injections, but it has not disappeared. I cannot really give you any useful advice on how to handle it, as, in fact, I am myself struggling with the situation a lot

For most noises, reactivity has gone down again. However, some environments (especially outdoor) trigger T stronger than before.
