In short, there is tinnitus that is caused by noise and temporomandibular tinnitus which is caused by a bad jaw joint or/neck strain. Since u are a musician it could very well be either. I suggest first getting your neck and jaw checked out and loosened up before u look further. Also, having a...

Clenching Jaw Makes Some of My Tinnitus Tones Temporarily Completely Stop

Since a couple of months I have noise induced tinnitus from single time loud headphone use. During the last few days I have noticed that if I clench my jaw very hard for a few seconds some of the tinnitus tones actually completely stop for a couple of minutes. I am aware somatic tinnitus...

Tinnitus Changed from Morse Code Ringing to Ultra-High Pitch, Is That Normal?

Hello everyone, I just recently acquired tinnitus about 1 month ago after using a loud headset. I rarely go to clubs, been to 6 in my entire life. First it was a morse code ringing but now it has changed to an ultra high pitch, is this normal? I barely sleep and I'm 95% of the time super...

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I am quite confident that FX-322 will have a positive effect as long as there is some room for hair cell damage to be repaired (which there often is) and that way make up for the disconnected synapses in the other hair cells. I supposedly have a normal audiogram but I'm still -15 dB so I'd guess...

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

I think it will affect all frequencies about equally as long as there is proper diffusion of the drug, which I do think they thought about. And I think the cells would stay alive since they have tested it on animals and otherwise probably wouldn't have gone through with the drug.
