I feel so stupid not using foam earplugs. One mistake and permantentely worsened tinnitus. Never felt so stupid (and sad) in my life.

More than 12 hours since applying the Voltaren gel on my neck now, and the new tinnitus sound is still extremely loud. I really think I messed up big time with that gel. It should be out of my system by now. I feel so hopeless right now.

Do not use Revaxör and syringe bulb or microsuction to get it out. I would be very careful with manual tools as well. I think ear wax removal is as dangerous as a rock concert without earplugs for tinnitus people.

Did he use microsuction? Was it loud? If it took two seconds I guess he used a curette and just took away the wax. It seems all kinds of ear wax removal is very dangerous. I have used syringe water bulb very gently, and it made my tinnitus permanently worse. There are many stories on this site...

I would not see a doctor in Sweden tbh. Listening to the doctors has only worsened my tinnitus. If you use earplugs a lot, the ear canal can get irritated. I only use earmuffs now.

Same here, I’m two months in and my life is over in almost every way. If it doesn’t improve soon I’m going to give up. I can’t live many more months like this, it’s impossible. I really hope things improve for you soon. I have read that things can get better for some.
