Hi Alessia, it's really nice to see that message, and then to read your subsequent recovery. I wish you a happy life, cheers
Hey mate, I wonder if can ask you a few questions regarding your ear pain that you had. I don't know how to pm people as I don't use this site much.

    Cheers

hey! was just wondering if could message you about tinnitus? if you have that, even.
only asking because i was searching 'headphones with tinnitus' and you were fine with them being used..?

Headphones are dangerous for people that have noise induced tinnitus, plain and simple. It is true some people are not affected by headphones but you are taking a risk, every time you use them even at low volume.

regular usage of headphones is a risk tbh, your inner ear's are already damaged. You don't want to kill any more ribbon synapses in your cochlea or cause more hair cell death, do you?
Hello I was just wondering what kind of ear problems have you experienced with your tinnitus I have just started suffering with a very bad ear fullness and pressure along with the ringing and heartbeat sound to in my ears at night also my ears go numb and I feel spaced out with it

Hi, sorry I didn't respond earlier!
I've had every tinnitus (and hyperacusis) symptom you can imagine apart from vertigo. The heartbeat sound is called pulsatile tinnitus, which I had for a bit but it went away by itself. If you want to ask me anymore questions feel free to PM me - otherwise you can ask others for some help on the support forum.
I Didn't get the corticostoiden from the doctor he said they are heavy medicins and they don't help anymore
hey yonkapin i think that the worsing tinnitus hasm ore to do with anxiety and the perception than with real damage. because sunday, monday, tuesday and wednesday i didnt notice anything. only yesterday and today because i think because my perception is on it. in 30 minutes i have an appointement with the doctor for corticostoiden you talked about. my plan is to take them after the festival tommorow just to be sure.
Hi yonkapin. I have an appointment on wed with heidelberg audiology which I beleive you have been to. Did they help you much ?

Oh nice, it was definitely the best experience with an audiologist that I have had. I saw Dr. Ross Dineen and he spent a good couple hours with me discussing my symptoms, how to deal with them and then he was very cool in that I had a ton of ideas, theories and questions for him which he was all too happy to discuss with me. Let me know how things go with you!
