    Yes i am taking an AD right now. It is Citalopram 20mg. It lowers my anxiety and helps with my depression. It is in a class of drugs called SSRI. Selective Serotonin Reuptake inhibitors. As it controls my anxiety i no longer have panic attacks that spike my tinnitus. Hope this helps

    @BrynM Welcome my friend. I am 60 and got mine for my 59th birthday. My doctor called it a pesky thing and not to listen to it. Dont worry so much about a sleeping pill. You must have sleep to deal with it. There are alot of great people here and i wish you peace and courage to deal with it :)
