    Go for drives, I usually drive around my neighborhood with my music on. And I did this every night. I also went for a walk around my neighborhood. I work full time. No down time, it's like starting a new diet. You have to start a new way to deal with it.

    Your tinnitus was originally lower so I will assume it will go back. But it can take time. For anxiety go back to a Doc and see what treatment you can do. You should get that under control, once that's controlled you will be able to deal with tinnitus. Mine is from stress.

    The struggle is real but you've been here for awhile and know there are many successful posters who have done well. Especially studying will keep your brain busy. If you need a break, get up and go for a walk or short drive. I keep myself busy most of the day. Luckily, I was a busy person.

    I love it. My neighbor had a bigger one in her backyard, and I could hear it. I listen to it for long periods of time. It helps me in a big way. At work I use a fan and radio. I think you will love that fountain. My tinnitus is static, hiss, crickets.

    Your tinnitus can go away within a 3 month window. I would stay away from loud noise. Stress can wreak havoc also. Keep calm as much as you can.

    I usually stay busy with noise around me but when I'm suddenly in a quiet spot, it's instantly hell. My body starts to bother me. I work to find noise and put myself back in self-absorb mode.     Get a better anxiety med that works for you. And also work on habituation, the get used to stage, it is very important. SLEEP. Get a sound machine and play an ocean sound. Use a fan, take 2 Tylenol PM, take a hot shower, use an eye mask or darken the room. Get some sleep now.

    I know NY started with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. My husband went down to NYC for it at 0300 and afterwards had a little cold. He does not have tinnitus. The Johnson & Johnson is a one shot deal. I'm still waiting for mine.

    @SadMan, from what I know from here, Amitriptyline is used sleep. For sleep I use Tylenol pm, fan, sound machine. As for taking meds, it's a crazy shot of what works for anxiety. I really like to go on car rides with music on low. It works well for me.

    My doctor also increased my Zoloft dosage after I told her no. I was feeling OK, and she did it anyway. Well I had such bad side effects. And after blood work she switched me back and now my tinnitus is worse than it's ever been. I'm in the same boat. If you go off Zoloft, go extremely slow.
