I dont want to scream but my family is horrible, they mock me for being scared of door slams, if i had the strength i would go away and never ever return to these vile people.

I am not going to a hospital, already went through that and all it did is make my anxiety worse. it contributed to me having a hard time calming down. was at a hospital for 3 days and was extremely mistreated.

But it was a really big machine.... it probably makes a different type of loud noise than a classroom. and all this is assuming a smartphone app accurately captured the noise level..

over 30 minute exposure

35db assuming this smartphone app can be trusted.. and it was fairly loud. the machine it self is apparently 90db, and i was around 3meters away from it on the first floor....normal double-glass windows. i cannot be sure

When I briefly looked at my phone while the machine was here it showed on the app 35db, but I can't know for sure if this was while the drain was in use or idle. I don't even know how accurate this app is. But i rarely listen to music even that loud. 35db is the sound the kitchen stoves air...
