Thanks for confirming that. I thought it might put a lot of small pressure on the jaw and over time create T out of it. I'm just frustrated because I don't know what's causing my T after I went to an ENT and ER 6 times.

Sounds like my hyperacusis. Each day I tend to wake up sensitive to sounds and through out the day it gets a tiny bit better. I slowly see it getting better but some days are tolerable and some days it feels like it's getting worse. I sleep with some relaxation music.

Well, doctors are going to give you meds in order to see which ones will help you. Valium is used to treat anxiety and muscle spams which are known to make T worse. Do you know why you were given Valium? I was prescribed Valium due to my severe anxiety but I rarely take it. I'm still trying...

My tinnitus was gone for about a week but it started again today. My hyperacusis hasn't gone away but today I woke up with it worse than usual.

I don't know if you've tried jaw exercises but TMJ is a candidate for tinnitus.
