What Is Life Worth without Hearing Normally?

I'm not going to watch because I can see what kind of point you're attempting to make. However, does someone else's horrid situation make you any less devastated about lesser problems? Just because other people have things a whole lot worse doesn't mean I'd be any less upset over a hearing...

Weird Out of Body Experience while on Sleep Paralysis last night!

I've experienced the sleep paralysis thing before more than once and I didn't like it. I didn't know what it was. It's been a long time. I would wake up and know that I was awake and yet I couldn't open my eyes or move at all. I felt very vulnerable and that someone could do whatever they...

    The Walking Dead (AMC)

Oh yeah, long time ago. They guy who played Sammy died here a while back. His son is still playing the role according to what I find on the internet. I saw him in person at our mall once. Not without the makeup though. But there are pics online of Bob Carter who played him...

    ARCHES Tinnitus Formula

Well, so far the Arches hasn't made any change in my T. But I'll probably continue to take them just to get rid of them since I did pay for them.

Could Someone Tell Me What Pulsatile Tinnitus Is?

No I don't think I do. It's usually just a steady ring, though it does go up and get louder for seconds and come back down again at times.

Could Someone Tell Me What Pulsatile Tinnitus Is?

Wow, diseases/conditions I've never even heard of.

Could Someone Tell Me What Pulsatile Tinnitus Is?

Sometimes if a sound is just right and repetitive like a drum beat will feel a pulse in my ears with the beat. Is that it or is it something else? How many kinds of tinnitus is there anyway? I have no clue what type I have, I only know there is ringing in my ears.

    Poll: Are You Happy?

I'm not what I'd call happy all the time but it doesn't really have anything to do with the T though that can be frustrating at times.

I tried that Lipoflavinoid but then I went to a routine doc appt and he was a bit upset that my blood pressure was way up. I knew it had to be the Lipoflavinoid so I quit taking it.

    Ginkgo Biloba

And it can go up and then back down all of a sudden. I could be doing anything and it goes up in volume an pitch then goes back down. Weird.

    Ginkgo Biloba

That's true. But I think I hear good. I was told that I've lost some in the upper ranges but I don't feel deprived of hearing. Now if someone mumbles and runs their words together like my hubby tends to do I may not understand but it doesn't mean I didn't hear it.

    Ginkgo Biloba

Well I'm taking that Arches Tinnitus formula which has Ginko in it. Still on first bottle and so far nothing. I also picked up something at Meijers called ring relief. It's drops you put in your ears but it says right on the box that it may not work for everyone and the T may worsen at first...

    A Question of Religion...

Well, Christ said to go to the world with the gospel so how can a Christian do that without talking about it? Course, I realize you have to try and discern whether to speak in a given situation or when it's time to stop. Oh and the weather here is very cold right now, we've had some snow.

    Benadryl Reduces My Ear Ringing?

I think that the same thing doesn't work for everyone, I'm glad you found something. Seems like a multitude of things you can try and I'm afraid I'll just run out of steam and give up. Right now I'm working on my first bottle of the Arches Tinnitus formula but I'm skeptical that it'll work...

    A Question of Religion...

The answer to both would be depends on the religion. Course, I tend to look at things from the biblical/Christian perspective. I don't really like the term religion, it can be deceiving. Religion can mean anything, it's people trying to do something to reach God whereas Christianity is God...

You're certainly free to believe whatever you like just as some of us have the same freedom to believe in God. There's a Bible verse about those who say "there is no God" but I won't quote it. Sorry to hear about your increased T. I think mine has increased some too but so far I can still get to sleep. I don't notice it all the time but it's aggravating. Used to not notice it much at all during the day but I can hear it right now. I don't drink but am trying the Arches Tinnitus...

How Do You Keep Your Sanity?

    A Question of Religion...

I believe in divine physical healing. However God doesn't always heal. The apostle Paul requested that he remove a thorn in his flesh and God's answer was "My grace is sufficient for thee." Plus I also believe that healing from going to a doctor still comes from God.

    Floaters

I didn't know there was anything at all that could be done about them. I figure you just have to live with it. I'm 58. They don't really bother me that much. The tinnitus bothers me more than that though it's not that horrible either.

What Is the Cause of Your Tinnitus?

I can only guess. I don't know what the cause is. I've hit my head a few times when I was a child plus I've got some TMJ issues so who knows. I don't really remember when I first started noticing it either. But as far as I can remember I haven't had exposure to loud noise for years at a time. I...
