I really don't know. She has 2 ó 3 tones, she realized she had it when I got mine. It seems hers are Cicadas and high pitch tone, sometimes she talks louder because the tinnitus is intrusive in normal talking. But she doesn't care. I don't know how she does that.

I have gotten some level of habituation of my tinnitus. However I was working for several weeks in a place too much quiet and my tinnitus tone got higher and my habituation went to zero. Could the tinnitus tone change because of working in places too quiet?

Really alternative this approach. For sure some exotic plant in the middle of the river combined with a animal protein could regrow hearing cells. The issue is finding that combination. Ten years ago I had idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. Four years later it resolved by itself. I really suffered a lot. But that neuropathy was nothing compared to tinnitus.

You have to forgive yourself and protect your ears. If you do that for sure the tinnitus will get lower and you will be programming as before.

After I go swimming (but I use earplugs) I feel the tinnitus lower than usual. I think it is because of endorphines the body generates.

That worked for me. I have realized that mirtapax, clonopil and/or xanax get worse the dry eye.. in my case.

Dear Bill: well, I really don't know. Because I am using masking and sound enrichment and I am taking xanax also I am using "back to silence method". The volume seems to get lower but I am not sure if that is real or not.
