Almost all medicine has ringing in the ears as a side effect. I'm on Atenolol and have no problem with it. If it would cause your T i dont think it would take 2 years to start maybe a week are 2 at the most. Mine was caused by meds and started 3 day after taking them.
I have the same problem when I drive mine will go up also mine stays up a little longer about 2 hrs them slowly comes down same in the shower I think it is the increased sound level and my ears don't like the frequency in the shower and vibration in the car I will wear earplugs in the car if it...
If it stops my anxiety and panic attacks I would take one the size of a donut who cares if they say you will get addicted I have to take care of my self right now from going insane
Mine the same as Tinker Bell and Kelvin's, gets louder as the sounds around me get louder, car, shower, highway noise, kids. basketball game at school, can hear it over all that shit, an easy 60 dB
Not really it's construction tractor digs the hole we put the pipe in the ground there is only so much ear protection you can have it's life you deal with it and move on you just have to be smart about it I see so many people doing the same work as I do with no protection at all and it freaks me...

go buy some musician earplugs they're almost invisible and they cut down on the high frequencyannoyance of your T and you can hear with them and it cut down on the spikes
I still go out to the bars I try and stay away from the really loud music but when I'm out I take a break and go out side take the plugs out and give my ears a break. but the decision is all yoursI would take baby steps go out little at a time and see how you feel
with the musician ear plugs they let sound in unlike the cheap foam ones that block out most sound google them and find the 1 you like they run around 50 to 70 US dollars
Ear plugs work really well you can get the cheap one about anywhere are you can musician earplugs that are almost invisible but they cost a little more then the cheap ones
Get a loud fan there are some good sound apps on your phone or laptop. I use both when it is bad. Ask your Gp for some sleep meds if you have to sleep is important
If I were you I would go to your GP and get some meds for the anxiety. Don't give up on them it takes awhile for them to kick in .In my case the sooner I took care of my anxiety the T was easier to deal with. For the sensitive ears open hats a hard one you have to be careful with them I know it...

To sleep turn on a fan maybe try so music that will make you relax. Try not to worry about it till you see your doc .I know that hard to do but stress and anxiety makes it worse trust me .I've had T for quite some time.
I'm in a bowling league I find it good to get out. I don't find the noise to be a problem. I bring my earplugs just in case. Go out and have some fun and forget about T for awhile

You go to your GP I can't help you they send you to a ENT. They tell you to live with it.Then they send you to a audiologist and the best they can do it said you was a pair of hearing aids with maskers in then and they cost a arm and leg. which a lot of people can afford like me I just wish I...
