Me to bill, this one sucks bad.I sincerely hope for your spike to be over soon...
@Jake007 , I hope your T subsides . I also have spike on and off from last two months .Thanks for the support guys, I have no idea what triggered this thing. It came out of nowhere.
Once it settles, do you plan to continue attending concerts?Mind caused by a noisy gathering, and a concert, with ear plugs last Sunday. Mind blowing, isn't it.

Were you exposed to noises like that of a vacuum cleaner or a motor boat within a week or two of the beginning of this spike?I have no idea what triggered this thing. It came out of nowhere.
No I haven't, the only loud sounds I hear are at work. I've been doing the same stuff I always do and never had a spike like this before. Were you exposed to noises like that of a vacuum cleaner or a motor boat within a week or two of the beginning of this spike?
Yeah I wear 33db plugs and the Peltor muffs over that.Have you been wearing earplugs or Peltor muffs at work, @Jake007 ?
Could you take time (a month?) off of work to see whether staying away from the noise at work helps your T? This is tricky, as of course you could naturally get better over time. Another possibility is that the ear protection you have been using is not enough and noise at work is hurting your ears...Yeah I wear 33db plugs and the Peltor muffs over that.
I wish I could take a month off but I can't. I bought the best of everything I could for protection. I don't know what else I can do? I'm sure my job doesn't help cause it is very loud. It's probably cause of that.Could you take time (a month?) off of work to see whether staying away from the noise at work helps your T? I have the foam ones from Menards, they make my ears hurt to. What all machinery and tools do you have to use?Do you have the store bought foam plugs or customs one's.I work construction and use the foam one and the make my ears hurt and I would spike bad the custom one are molded to your ears and fell better
Do the custom plugs make a big difference in the reduction of noise? It really sucks having this shit when you are already established at a loud job. Your job is very loud as well.I lay sewer pipe ,pour concrete laborers work use concrete saws ,hamerdrill work around track how, back how and every other loud tractor out ther or sucks right now I took off a month ago ears started hurting so bad ringing was so loud I could hear it in the shower end up getting hearing aid try them for a while before I go back they do seem to help but cost alot

I got a hearing aid to couple months ago, I don't even wear it anymore because I get this big fullness/ plugged/clogged pressure feeling whenever I take it out. So I only put it in when it gets bad. It has had no effect on this dam spike.I lay sewer pipe ,pour concrete laborers work use concrete saws ,hamerdrill work around track how, back how and every other loud tractor out ther or sucks right now I took off a month ago ears started hurting so bad ringing was so loud I could hear it in the shower end up getting hearing aid try them for a while before I go back they do seem to help but cost alot
