Where to Go for Sound Therapy (Southeast U.S.)?

I downloaded the tonal tinnitus therapy app on google play.. It sends me reminders to use it every day, and is recommended for four hours each day (with 30 minutes being a more minimal option). I haven't gotten in the habit of using it yet, but at the very least it has worked to help define the...

Where to Go for Sound Therapy (Southeast U.S.)?

That's good to know about. Personally I'm at the point where any news or even testimonials is good news and worth at least looking into. Looking forward to seeing the compiled success stories the founder of this site has been working on, related to that. Do have to take a lot with a grain of salt.

Can you explain a little more about what kind of analysis you did on the Tinnitus Mix?

Where to Go for Sound Therapy (Southeast U.S.)?

It seems people are pretty skeptical of his background and claims. But I'm willing to try it. Folks have knocked him pretty hard over on this thread though: https://www.tinnitustalk.com/threads/i-invented-a-sound-that-knocked-out-my-tinnitus.33001/

Where to Go for Sound Therapy (Southeast U.S.)?

Gotcha. Would love to know more about efficacy of the treatments elsewhere. I just looked into the Tinnitus Mix. I had no idea it existed. Going to give it a shot. Thanks for pointing it out to me!

Where to Go for Sound Therapy (Southeast U.S.)?

Hello! I live in South Carolina and, after doing the whole round of ENT / audiologist visits and getting the usual response about lack of treatment options, I'm looking for a place that might offer a solution or know more about options. Specifically looking for a more robust solution than just...

    Tinnitus to Silence...

Fin, thanks for the recommendation towards Julian Cowan Hill! For some reason it seems difficult to break through to the real solid resources on youtube after the initial videos that come back. Looking forward to exploring his videos.

Supplements (Ginkgo Biloba, Lipo-Flavonoids, Turmeric) Has Made My Tinnitus More Bearable

But I'll repeat... the Gaia ginkgo seems to have actually helped. Not completely gone, but has helped more than anything else.

Supplements (Ginkgo Biloba, Lipo-Flavonoids, Turmeric) Has Made My Tinnitus More Bearable

I didn't have luck with the main shelf brand of these. Have you used that or do you have another you recommend?

Supplements (Ginkgo Biloba, Lipo-Flavonoids, Turmeric) Has Made My Tinnitus More Bearable

https://www.gaiaherbs.com/products/ginkgo-leaf More info there, but also a pic of the caps with liquid extract. Have to say it just feels like a lot of work has gone into making this higher quality.

Supplements (Ginkgo Biloba, Lipo-Flavonoids, Turmeric) Has Made My Tinnitus More Bearable

I will add to this about my recent positive experience with a specific brand of ginkgo. Before this - and still on some days - I have tried a regimen of cheaper ginkgo (from WalMart), mag/cal, turmeric, cordyceps mushrooms, NAC, b vitamins, and, originally, lipoflavonoid. I decided to splurge...

Already 6 Hours Tinnitus Free with CBD Oil

Right. They are two different things entirely. The aim of CBD is to reduce anxiety (the main reason it might be useful for T, from my understanding - haven't seen much about it specifically addressing hearing or tinnitus) while THC is a know sensory stimulant and increases anxiety in some.

Tinnitus and TMJ — Sometimes the Tinnitus Gets Louder When Eating / Chewing

So, as is the common path for tinnitus, I'm working to address any and all possible underlying causes, and I recently learned that I have substantial teeth grinding, although it's never been called TMJ. But I know I retain a lot of stress in my jaws and my jaw structure has always tended to...

Already 6 Hours Tinnitus Free with CBD Oil

Thank you for the recommendation! I'm gonna go to a local health store this evening that I know carries CBD and see what the options are. I guess it's likely too early for CBDs for there to be specific brands targeting anything around ear health. But I haven't looked, so will see what I find.

Can Exercise and Weight Loss Help Address Tinnitus?

So I was just yesterday diagnosed on a second follow up visit to the ENT/audiologist with mild hearing loss in my left ear. As part of that conversation, including about supplements, we discussed the fact that tackling general wellness can at least help, if only perception and just feeling...

Already 6 Hours Tinnitus Free with CBD Oil

Also, are there options for applying drops topically or in the ear vs orally? I've heard of people using it for back pain and wondering if both of those approaches are available for tinnitus/ear health.

Already 6 Hours Tinnitus Free with CBD Oil

It seems that CBD is having some really positive effects for a wide range of ailments and I have been thinking of trying it for a while for tinnitus, whether it's hitting that symptom or reducing stress. It's encouraging that it has helped some. But some few studies that have been done have...

    Tinnitus Treatment Center in Memphis?

I wasn't necessarily looking at Shea. That's just what was coming up in search results. The conversation I had around this was about an injection into the ear treatment, but I'm not sure what the treatment center is or where it's located. The website for Shea is full of a good number of typos...

    Tinnitus Treatment Center in Memphis?

So I was talking with a friend last night who mentioned a center for treatment in Memphis that, apparently, has people coming from all over the world for their particular treatment. Does anyone have more information on this? There are a couple of interesting search results, including a...

    Magnesium

I was directed to this study in another thread, in which magnesium was shown effective in protecting against noise related hearing loss: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/0196070994900361 However, in many threads, I'm seeing that people take other forms of magnesium (citrate...

How Important Is Getting Help/Treatment Soon After Onset?

I appreciate the information. Right - the ear drops are homeopathic and would not reach the inner ear- I decided to give it a shot given a recommendation from someone on YouTube who took Lipoflavonoid for months by his doctor's recommendation and found this to be more effective, at least...

How Important Is Getting Help/Treatment Soon After Onset?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, so hello! So I have had some tinnitus mainly in my left ear since around January. I'm not sure what caused it. I'm a musician and was around loud music, but nothing different from before onset, but I also had a middle ear infection in December that I've...
