    Silencing Tinnitus During Sleep

I've only been diagnosed with T for a week or two. I've noticed that salt, alcohol and stress can set it off. Actually... SILENCE is worse. When I sleep... it ROARS. It's a very low frequency... like a work truck outside. What do you do to stop the noise when the world goes to sleep?

    Flying & Tinnitus

I too wonder about about noise canceling earphones or earplugs. When my bad ear is exposed to the world my T is less pronounced. When I cover it the T becomes a working bulldozer 1' away from me. :-(

    Does Tinnitus Change Loudness Temporarily?

Okay, I owe you and future readers of this thread an update. I cannot explain it. Let me start with that. When I first started this thread I was an 11/10. Seriously. I have a verrry low distant work truck sounding roar in my right ear. I heard it most of the morning. I like to walk for...

    Living in the Twilight Zone

MILD? Today is the loudest it's ever been. Or loudest it's ever been since I realized it's me and not the environment.

    Does Tinnitus Change Loudness Temporarily?

I would say my T was 5 until 2-3 weeks ago where it went up to a 9. Then 10. Then it did the ol' Spinal Tap thing of going to 11 a few days ago. Is this my future? Can/does it go back down?

Sonicare Toothbrush Caused a Tinnitus Spike?

Could a Sonicare toothbrush be to blame for my tinnitus going from 5 to 10?

    Living in the Twilight Zone

You remember that episode of The Twilight Zone where the librarian lived to read books and then he found himself the last man on earth with a library of books and he accidentally breaks his glasses? That's me. I love peace and quite. I take vacations where it's silent except for nature. Now...
