I'm not saying we need to withdraw in a day but the goal really needs to be to get out. I could see a full withdrawal on a reasonable timeline and I'd give Biden credit if we withdrew even by the end of his first term. I'm not unreasonable. We could give our allies a reasonable warning in advance that over the next X months or years we're leaving and they'll frankly have to deal with that.
And also, Obama admitted in his recent book that he did a lot of what he did for political optics, he said he didn't want to look like a liberal President who was weak on terror. And that's exactly the problem. The optics of withdrawal and not going scorched earth on the "terrorists" is easily exploitable in electoral politics.

I feel like Obama was the sacrificial lamb for the belief that a liberal can prove objectivity to a conservative.
The far left, socialist, Ron Paul, is quoted many times, insisting and demanding that the USA get out of all their foreign wars. Born To Slay thinks "policies of staying out of wars and not invading countries" is a left-wing trait, right?

But, Clinton and Obomber decided to aid terrorists in their overthrow of Gaddafi. Yeah, he was a dictator but he kept the country in line from psycho terrorists who were worse than him. "Climate Change" is yet another controversial topic which ironically provokes authorities to censor and people to use buzz words to intimidate people who don't abide by the commonly held and accepted narrative.
The question is whether one can debate this or not. Imho. Because, if you don't subscribe to the status quo narrative, you are a Climate Change "denier" or a "loon." But, it's not as explosive a topic as COVID-19 since having the "wrong" opinion on Climate Change doesn't imply "you don't care about deaths."
Imho, Climate Change is happening but I think it can be debated what that means and the intangibles involved. Examples, how much of it is man-made, if part of it is, can people do anything about it and if you can, do people appreciate the sacrifices and to what extent can people affect it - need to weigh these and so on. Right? Also, suggesting that the "Climate Change" crowd meaning those authorities who want to "fight it, address it and implement limitations on people" to do so, are only in it for profit and to control people is a "conspiracy theory."

That's how people respond with everything. As Contrast said, it's "a conspiracy theory" and the person speculating or suggesting it, is an "extremist " and I would add, a "denier" because that's the next buzz word to become popular and overly used. Just wait and see. Mark my words and all that.
I'm as Libertarian as they come but Breitbart news is the 180 of the Clinton News Network. All the mainstream media is garbage. All these moronic journalists with extreme far left and right views. Why do we have a two party system? If the clowns that voted for Trump would have voted Libertarian we would have a woman president that pushes to eliminate excess waste and minimalize the government.
Some questions, if you don't mind. Are all those who voted for Trump, "clowns", or are some not? If all all of those who voted for Trump, who lost, had voted for a female libertarian candidate, how could she have possibly won? Final question: Are those who voted for Biden, not "clowns"?

Trump was the "People's President". Biden is just a puppet for special interest groups. He signed more executive orders in less than a month than his predecessors did in a year I would guess, and some of them are very bad decisions IMO.
Harris may be impeached, in 2022. Hopefully, it will happen.

Unfortunately, having been on jury duty, and grand jury duty, I'm sorry to say that many trials are. This impeachment trial was not only a waste of money, in the middle of a pandemic it was a waste of valuable human resources as well.
It probably won't happen, but I am hoping that in time, we will see impeachment proceeding against Kamala Harris.
