The history-making indictment marks the first time a president has been charged in a criminal matter and has put Bragg's career into overdrive.

Nancy Pelosi has declared that Trump will have a chance to prove himself innocent at the trial. This is the same as stating that he is guilty until proven innocent, and she is being vilified for it. It's hard to imagine any American, much less a person in her position, saying such a thing about any indictment, even for a mass murderer, but she has.

These charges against Trump is a clear sign of democracy in action. This shows no one is above the law and that everyone faces the same judicial process.

Even yesterday, Trump thanked the grand jury, saying how much he respected them. "I have gained such respect for this grand jury, and perhaps even the grand jury system!"

I think that Trump is finally realizing that his lies are failing to gain traction and he must willingly submit himself for arraignment. NOT.

This new Fox poll is not the only one that illustrates a high level of disbelief in his version, by the majority of citizens. The opinion regarding COVID-19 is shared by the FBI, The Energy Dept., and Robert Redfield, former head of the CDC whose belief about the origin of COVID-19 clashed with Fauci's.

I believe that prostitution should be legal, but this does not mean that I'm a fan of it. The impending arrest of this man is totally political.

Fat Alvin Bragg is not capable of understanding what a man like Trump is capable of doing, and I'm not talking about inciting violence. Republicans are overwhelmingly very peaceful, decent citizens. He will do something, we will likely never know for sure that it was him. It might be a revelation about Bragg, or another Democrat, or something else before the next election in November, but take my word for it - Trump will not take a thing like this without fighting back, and he has the resources and will to do it.

I'm somewhat disappointed that the first time an ex-President of the U.S. is charged with a crime is for hush money paid to a porn star. I really don't much care if somebody has paid hush money like this, and I doubt that very many people in the U.S. thinks it warrants an indictment.

That said, this case does makes sense in that Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen was investigated and charged by Trump's own Justice Dept. back in 2018 for the hush money scheme that he carried out on behalf of Trump (Individual 1). Cohen ended up going to jail, so why shouldn't Trump? It's almost like somebody pays a hit man to do a job, the hit man goes to jail, but the person who hired the hitman to do the dirty work should somehow go scott free.

I just hope this case fades in importance and public attention as Trump gets charged with much more serious crimes, like trying to steal an election, inciting the Jan. 6 riots, and stealing classified information and then lieing about it. I don't think a lot of Americans still realize the depths of his criminality in these cases, and I think bringing charges in these cases would be very revealing to many currently uninformed Americans.

I don't see it as Trump being indicted for any reason other than he probably broke many laws before and during his presidency. The big nail in his coffin is going to be Michael Cohen's testimony. He is someone who knew the facts first hand, and has absolutely nothing to lose for having made that testimony because he has served his prison time.
