What issues are you talking about, concerning Trump? If he had been under investigation for criminal acts such as killing, I would have supported his resignation, as it would have seriously interfered with his ability to run the country, the same as Cuomo and his relationship with New York. Practically every type of investigation possible was tried or suggested, for Trump, short of murder - the latter of which Cuomo may end up being be tried for.
I have no problem if Cuomo eventually resigns, but the left shouldn't just surrender to prove objectivity to people that only care about power. Come on, anyone who loves Donald Trump is not really concerned with sexual assault.

I was referring to the sexual assault accusations that you were then happy to throw at governor Cuomo but when discussing President Trump's sexual assault allegations, one of which includes physical evidence as FGG cited, you weren't really concerned. So I was curious to know why Cuomo should resign under an open investigation but not Trump when he's in court stalling the clock in a rape case.
It's not about proving objectivity. Cuomo should resign because he committed crimes against women and were the party of feminism. I could give less a shit what the right thinks but we're the good guys and we can't have people assaulting women on our team. In addition, his mishandling of COVID-19 was pretty bad and probably did kill people. On principle, I think he needs to go.

Trump is no longer a politician. Whatever is happening to him, as far as these allegations, at this time, there are no political ramifications because he is a citizen. If he raped somebody he should go to prison. Cuomo, on the other hand, is the Governor of New York. He is in the headlines every day for alleged sexual misconduct but, in my opinion, the charges that he murdered 15.000 people in the nursing home scandal, and covered it up for profit, are far more important. In the meantime, the sexual abuse allegations are destroying his ability to lead this state, and he has to go.
