Additional context:Context: When Reagan gave that talk Canada, Mexico, and China were not flooding our country with criminals and extremely deadly drugs such as Fentanyl. Trump must do everything in his power to stop this, and if it means there will be tariffs, then there will be tariffs these countries stop poisoning the United States.
Less than 1% of all fentanyl enters the United States through Canada.
As for Trump's supposedly unfair Canadian tariffs:
High tariffs apply to fewer than 1% of U.S. dairy exports to Canada, and only when these are above a certain volume limit. The U.S. also has high tariffs above certain volume limits for Canadian dairy, sugar, peanut butter, and other agricultural products.
I'm not really sure what problem Trump is specifically trying to solve with regards to Canada.
Especially because Trump negotiated the USMCA himself.
