2024 US Presidential Election

The majority of voters chose the president, but there are people who do not believe in the rules that any civilized country has and are engaging in barbaric behaviors.
No. Trump got about 77 million votes, but there are closer to 200 million registered voters. He also got less than a majority (less than 50%) among those who actually voted.

OK, he got more votes than Kamala Harris. I should have put it that way, knowing that there are people who can't stand the fact that he won.

If she had run an intelligent campaign and addressed the people that she ignored, she could have beaten him. It serves the Democrats right for what they have been doing and not doing for the past decade.

Yet he has Lutnick live on FOX, desperately telling people to buy Tesla stock.

The same Lutnick who's tied to Cantor Fitzgerald, which upgraded Tesla stock to a "buy"—even though the company is (literally) burning right now.

Isn't this a violation of the Hatch Act?

There's a lot of war mongers in the anti-Trump camp, we just have to accept that and be glad, for the sake of humanity, that their candidate lost.

I shouldn't complain. Trump's second presidency has lit a fire under me to move to Corpus Christi for some sun, water, and Spanish lessons. Later, I made my connections and lived as an ex-patriot in Costa Rica. I grew up on the Gulf Coast, so hot and humid weather is always a perfect reason to hit the water or take a ferry to the neighboring barrier islands.

Thank you, Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Trump is obsessed with annexing Panama, Greenland, and ("nasty") Canada. Does that not count as war-mongering?

Perhaps all of this rhetoric will serve as a pretext for Trump propping up the American military industry through his very own "Splendid Little War."

The export of American weaponry is currently worth between 100 and 200 billion USD per year. However, Europe and countries across the globe are pulling away from American weaponry—with many reconsidering their F35 contracts, for example. I don't think anyone will be ordering any F-47s.

It seems like America is rapidly moving back towards isolationism under Trump. And he's only been in office for 2 months. One can only imagine what America will look like in 4 years.

On the other hand, one might also wonder how long it'll take for the average US citizen to get fed up with Trump. Taking away social security seems like it might upset a lot of people.

No, not in the least, but those with TDS will make claims that have no basis.

Panama and Greenland are very important areas in which China is very interested. It is in their best interest to align themselves with the United States as business partners or more.

In 1969, Canada ratified the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. Canada is under the protection of the United States, for free, yet stopped allowing us to utilize land in Canada for military nuclear purposes. We pay an enormous amount of our taxes towards maintaining our military and nuclear weapon arsenal. Canada brags about free health care, but they can afford it, thanks to us. Canadian citizens also come here for medical care that they do not have access to in Canada. There are thousands of illegal immigrants, many of them from India, currently entering the U.S. through badly guarded Canadian borders. Canada should be made to compensate us through tariffs, at the very least. Perhaps Trump should announce that the United States will not interfere if another country decides to attack Canada and see how these cheapskate hypocrites feel about that.

Trump had no wars during his first term and is currently trying very hard to bring peace back again in his second term. Naturally, the war-mongering Democrats and some Republicans are not happy about this.

Sounds like you've got PMS, brother, sister? 😜
I told you buddy not to eat delicious grilled rats. Eating rats can cause delusional thinking, as you know. Btw, some people really like you here, but they seem quite queer. I'm mainly talking about the Norwegians and Dutch.

Gotta have my grilled rats and ant eggs. You make a good point.

My older brother married a Dutch woman, and I have visited about eight times. I have traveled all over the country. You would love it during the summertime.

Norway is beautiful. I have never been, but I would love to visit my friend @grate_biff.

Take care, buddy. Enjoy the coming spring and the change of seasons.

I find your position quite contradictory. You label Democrats as war-mongers while defending Trump's apparent interest in annexing other territories through various justifications.

When you claim Panama and Greenland should align with the US as business partners or more, you're basically describing what would essentially be territorial acquisition. If advocating for war makes someone a warmonger, how is advocating for taking control of sovereign territories fundamentally different?

Let's look at the definition of warmongering: encouraging or advocating aggression toward other countries. When you support threatening to abandon allies militarily unless they meet your demands, or justify why certain territories should be under US control, you're advocating for the use of military power as leverage—the very essence of what you criticize in Democrats (and others).

You can't consistently condemn warmongering while simultaneously supporting military threats and territorial expansion, regardless of which political party is involved. This inconsistency suggests your opposition isn't to warmongering itself, but simply to whoever is on the other side of the political aisle from you.

So essentially, you are not interested in having an intelligent debate and are just looking for reasons to insult people. You have barely acknowledged any of the arguments others have made, probably because you do not have any rebuttals to them.
Harris was "installed" as Biden's replacement after Biden's terrible debate performance with Trump. She was incapable of giving any credible, sensible press conferences. Harris is far, far to the left for most Americans and was Biden's "border czar," which was ridiculous. She received zero primary votes during the 2020 presidential race for a reason.

ELON MUSK: "It's come as quite a shock to me that there's this level of hatred and violence from the left.
Quite the nonsensical statement from Musk (not that it surprises anyone), because everybody hates him, and especially the many Trump voters whose lives are destroyed by Musk's chaotic government interference.

A CNN poll was conducted on Mar 5, 2025, regarding Musk, and the results show that about 53% of Americans said they have an "unfavorable opinion" of him, compared with 35% who have a positive view and 9% offering no opinion (and 2% saying they have "never heard" of Musk).

The poll results suggest that your assertion, "everybody hates him," is not very accurate.

Musk is not destroying lives. He has no power at all - he only does research and presents his findings and opinions to Trump, etc. I believe that has been correct most of the time so far.

Musk balances a fork and two spoons on his pinkie! Trump is amazed. Quite the genius.

Everybody doesn't hate Trump or Musk. I like them both. I suppose you admired Adolf Hitler.
