Once I saw a sign that had "male on male doesn't make you gay". We also have an African American space, a Latino space, and an LGTB space. That's what you get for going to college in California I guess I'm just here for the degree.Disturbing...

I had to walk past folks promoting organizations like "Trotskyist Club" at my Alma Mater. I remember posters with "Oy vey - my son is gay" on them. I have no idea what THAT was all about.Once I saw a sign that had "male on male doesn't make you gay". We also have an African American space, a Latino space, and an LGTB space. I guess it depends where. You've got your college "socialists" that are more like Bernie sanders than hardline socialists. The kind that act like liberals and think socialism is More like hardcore liberalism than it is something completely different. Then you've got your /leftypol/ types that are actually pretty ardent socialists and support Stalin and Lenin, but really hate idpol. Both groups suck. You are talking about socialists who are stuck in the 19th century. I don't think that 21st century Marxists are like that.
I think the SJWs are dying out. They're basically a meme at this point. I don't think the Tankies are going to become the majority, but the SJWs and liberals will just ditch idpol and care more about workers rights. That's a good thing IMO so it's something to look forward too. If they actually do it well enough I might vote for them next time. The left right now really sucks though. As the former group becomes more and more successful [IMHO they are the future], the members of the latter group [IMHO they are the past] will switch sides.
I guess. Reason I think that is because paradigm shift. Identity politics is what got Obama elected, and hillary not. Not to mention the youth hates it, which is why the younger generation is so right wing compared to the millenials. There's only one direction, and it's probably not up.Workers rights? Et tu, Brute?
In any case, I believe the exact opposite will happen. Only time will tell.
From a political standpoint it makes sense because you can divide the voter base into different blocks based on identity and win them over by pandering to them. However by overpandering to minorities you risk isolating the working class. This is why the democratic firewall voted for trump. I would to if that was the direction my party is headed. It had certainly played an important role in 2016 elections. It may have contributed to Doug Jones being elected. IMHO it will play an increasingly (increasing at an increasing rate) important role.
Yeah pretty much. It sucks. Tfw there's no libertarian countries. The above is what Marxists used to think. They no longer think that and are about to turn the U.S. into a one-party state. It is already a one-party state for all intents and purposes[with the democrats and the republicans being two wings of the same party], but they are about to "come out of the shadows." The masks are already off.
I would rather not talk about this with strangers on the internet, as that is not safe. We do not live in a free country.
