Cause of Tinnitus
noise induced (club)
Hello guys, Just to inform you i have t for like 9-10 weeks (noise induced). So my friend on Saturday came back from a bar he said his ears were ringing. Next day the left ear continued ringing so i told him to go to a doctor immediately..He went today and doc prescribed him some meds named ribrain and he is sure that his t will go cus it's early days. I just wanted to write this and update you with his results. I wish I had someone to tell me to go to a doctor immediately. Have a good day everyone.

acute T from noise ?
treatment protocol is
1) corticostreroids
2) N acetylcysteine
3) vitamins b1 b2 b3 b6 b12 c d e
4) aminoacids
5) creatine
6) magnesium
7) ΗΒΟ
8) most important -> huge amount of sleep (sleep a lot of times fixes T from noise)

He will take it for 15 days. Don't know what it actually does but hope will help him..he also had some hearing loss on bad ear and will take audiogram after a month to see the difference

betahistine will do nothing in noise induced T is 100% placebo.
If hearing loss exists the changes to recover are less but because the trauma is "fresh"
if he is follow the protocol immediately have good changes to improve.
Time is very critical every second delays the true treatment (not betahistine) the changes to recover decrease rapidly. First 12 hours are very important.

Did his T start after sleep upon waking up in the morning?
No he went to a bar and sat under the speaker for 2 hours. He knew my story but he sat there anyway . After some time he felt uncomfortable and left the bar with ringing in ears.

I see.. Yes time is very important.. I wish i knew it when i got it.. How you guys got ur T?

Hey, I got noise induced too, if only we could turn back time! How's yours been since you got it?
im on my 3rd month and i feel its low or i got used to it, i dont stress about it and sleep well at nights, like 9 hours of sleep.. my hearing is perfect as my doc said so the only thing i can do is to hope, how is yours ?

That's good to hear! Just gone past the 3 month mark after a gig! My hearing is apparently perfect too, however I think the hearing loss is past what they can test. Otherwise I don't know what's causing this T! It can be a pain but I'm able to sleep at the moment, the fear is making it worse.

yes i agree with you..i dont want to think what future holds for me, i hope its life without T for all of us.. would you like to exchange fb or skype so that we can communicate once in a while as we are both noise induced?

As long as we protect our ears I guess we willl be OK. It's the anitbiotics and other drugs which worry me.

Sure! I don't have Skype at the moment but feel free to PM me your FB!

That's very bad and if he has hearing loss T might be permanent.

no he didnt do the protocol, he did something very stupid instead, after 5 days with t he cut some woods with a machine that makes loud noise for some minutes and his t got louder, now he is back to lower t.. no comment for that

Sometimes hyperacusis is life saver because if you have H you can not cut woods with chainsaw you can't go to clubs & bars

Why won't he give? What he said? Maybe go to different doctor?

"Ears looking good, do you have stuffy nose? No, well i'm still going to prescribe stuffy nose and ear "opening" medication, off you go"....some old fart it was. Does not give a shit, tomorrow we will have ENT, are they tinnitus specialist or someone else?
