Cause of Tinnitus
Unknown. Misdiagnosed as Meniere's Disease.
Like many of you, I feel the tinnitus is life-ruining. While I've come to accept it, it's not something I absolutely love having around. I've tried medication, natural products, diet changes, etc & had nothing to help with it.
But recently I came across a method that I found did help out for a little while. It may not work for everyone but I thought I'd share it :)

What you do is put your palms over your ears, so your fingers are at the back of your skull.
Put your index finger over your middle finger, then tap on the back of your skull around fifty times.

After that, hopefully your tinnitus may sound a bit quieter! Like I said, it may not work for everyone, but after two years of this lame problem, this is the first thing that has provided me with at least a little relief.

Good luck ^.^ :huganimation:

How loud is your tinnitus?

I remember when my tinnitus first started reading about this method and sadly it did nothing for me.

Running water was my "silencer" , many an hour i sat in the bathroom with the water running with a book to read to try take my mind off it

Haha...I used to have reactive tinnitus so water sounds actually made mine go louder and louder...It would compete with the sound.

I did try this & as much as it does help while it's going, it only makes it 10x louder when it stops D:

I tried but... no benefits for me. Thank you for sharing anyway :)

Interesting. But if I do that I hear a very LOUD droning in my left ear (killer T). So there's definitely something damaged!
