Tinnitus Since
01/2012
OK here is my story, this works for me and I'm a bit perplexed.

In other threads I wrote I'm a Cannabist for 25 years now but last week my tinnitus got a lot worse especially after vaporising/smoking Cannabis. In my opinion due to the high THC strain I vap.
I'm a big supporter of the Cannabis plant because I truly believe it can solve any modern day problem our world is faced with today.

A month ago I bought 2 small bottles of CBD oil, which is mainly the essential oil of the Hemp plant. Hemp is a little brother of the Cannabis plant without the THC component (the component that makes you high).

I bought it for my mum since she suffers insomnia and on this oil she finally sleeps 8 hours a day. After my T got louder last week and changed in pitch around 8.5 kHz I stop taking any Cannabis and I didn't dare to use any CBD oil thinking it could make my tinnitus worse. I did a lot of searching on the Net on tinnitus and CBD oil and not a lot came up.

However I came across some user experiences that claimed CBD oil did some good things for tinnitus. So this morning I decided to take a gamble. I took 2 drops of 4% CBD oil and within 5 minutes, SILENCE! My high pitch noise was gone! What I was left with was kind of a feeling of stepping outside a loud bar into an quit street where you can often experience a foggy feeling in your ears standing too long in a loud area. However I have a mild hearing loss so that could explain the foggy feeling in my ears.

But yeah for the first time since 2012 complete silence. You can imagine my surprise and joy! I really didn't expect that to happen. Now 6 hours later (after consuming coffee, tobacco which would normally spike my tinnitus) still nothing! I do have a slight soft hiss in the background still but that is peanuts compared to what it used to be. For me that is Silence.

Now I know every tinnitus is different so I'm not claiming it will work for every one but what I do know is that CBD will calm you down, makes you very relax and makes you sleep well.
So if you can get hold of the stuff give it a try. I would be very interested what it would do for you.

I started with the 4% of CBD oil called Cibdol which can be purchased (at least in the Netherlands and the UK) from the web and will cost you around 29 euro's for 200+ drops.

I will try the 11% one as well and will also use the drops in my ears.

I'll keep you posted.

Sounds very intriguing! Do keep us posted....might invest in some of this myself!

Just read that it is also being trialled as a drug for epilepsy which is interesting as that is what Trobalt is used for also.

@sanjay
Just a couple of drops under my tongue. 2 drops 3 times a day max 15 drops a day.
@Pumpkin
Correct CBD oil does wonders for epilepsy, it works on our endo cannebenoid system on the cb1 and cb2 receptors.
Can be used for:

Autisme
ms
touret
epilepsy

and many more , it sort of corrects the brain into normal behaviour, that's why it helps for lots of issues.

What I forgot to mention. Being heavilly into NLP, hypnosis and Quantum mechanics I know how important intent, suggestion and expectation is in sickness and health. I did not had any expectation for this to work, in fact I was afraid CBD would spike my T as ThC did.

So if other people are willing to try after reading this inent and expectation will be sky high for others I guess.

the brain is full of cannabinoid receptors ... I was smoking weed for a few weeks because it seemed it helped my T ... it didn`t last and now i quit again ... but thanks for sharing ... very interesting.

Smoking Cannabis started to spike my T last week all of a sudden and I smoked 25 years without problem. Smoking will only give you THC and a little CBD, CBD oil contains CBD terpetense and 400 other substances with makes a huge difference. So if you can I would give it a try.

Allright time for an update.

I'm now almost 9 hours in had 2 drops 4% at 12 noon. and 2 drops 11% around 5.
I've done all that I shouldn't like smoking, coffe , beer and even a light hash joint ( thinks that would normally drive my T haywire.

Is it there? Yes and no, My high pitch sound is still gone I'm left with the same stuffy ear feeling like I just stepped out of a loud bar. A slight hiss very far in the backgroup almost like the oil is pusshing it back like masking it. It is quiter than my laptop fan.

This is what I would call silence.

It can cure autism eh? Very interesting, I may buy some...But I am sceptical that it can cure tinnitus. Keep us updated. I'd be using it for the autism and insomnia. I'm tinnitus free.

I wouldn't call it a cure either since it is still there very faint in the background. Even at lower level than when it started back in 2012.

I just took 2 other drops and it feels like laying another thick blanket over the sounds.

So I'm willing to rule out the placebo affect. I hope I will not get punished in the morning. But even then I had a great day so far!

I'm glad you found something which works. I'm gonna try it for the autism myself and sleep. I've been cured of tinnitus, via trobalt. But hey, people should give it a go and see what happens.

Happy to hear man!
Is your T completely gone? And do you still need to take that med? Was your T severe?

One thing for sure I won

Interessting.

I really hope it will do the same thing for others as it does for me.
I am on my 1st day and I know CBD is correcting the brains faulty behavior in many diseases so who what it will bring.

I'm always causios with pharmaceuticals I've been on Effexor for a year 10 years ago I still have some side effect to this from that shit. Biggest mistake in my life, besides one of the side effects is T.
