Where is this from? I would tend to be sceptical if you pulled it from a website selling the stuff, as that would suggest it is marketing.
Nope this is from a FB group that is collecting scientific evidence on Cannabis and Hemp and it's healing propperties. We are (I'm a member) giving information on how to make the oil, where you can buy the illegal oil which is clean and cheap so it's safe and we share information without any commercial motive. In fact if a member is pushing oil commercially he will be banned.

So, I have acoustic trauma tinnitus and have ordered the CBD oil. Do you know of anyone in the FB group that has been helped using these drops? Now that I know the cause of your tinnitus, I'm happy that you've had yours resolved but now discouraged as to whether it will help me. I'm having a very down day right now and need some hope.

What I understood is that loss of freq produces the phantom sound by the brain which doctors say is very closely linked to an epileptic reaction. It is well know that CBD can prevent those kind of reactions in the brain. So who knows I think only time can tell.

Widespread reseach on Cannabis as a medicine has only just started, in my opinion thanks to awareness out of the public and not due to the Pharmaceutical Industrie.

Don't get discourage CBD oil will still help you relax , fight anxiety and depression.

@Drecul,
On the textbook of Tinnitus papers only 2 pages came through. I tried to find more of this chapter by googling but was unable to. Can you find some more pages of this chapter? It was just getting interesting. Thanks.

This guy claims he used CBD oil both oraly and in his ear and it took a month and a half to go from a loud pitch to a soft hiss.
I don't know the guy , it's in Dutch. He claims he used his own made Cannabis oil that spiked his T at first but that this was temporary and that this is a sign of healing.

For what it's worth ofcourse.

Well the point is that it will help with relax and sleep and that in itself may help the noise to go down. Many people here are using anti depressants or anti anxiety benzoes orsleeping pills. If they or we can use the oil instead of chemical meds, then it would be better no?
Helping with sleep is a side issue. Drecul was saying he/she took the oil and the volume was reduced to almost nothing. That's different than saying it helps you sleep. I use self-hypnosis and deep breathing to help me sleep. What I need is something to stop or significantly reduce the noise when I'm awake so I can function normally again.

Also, it bears repeating that Drecul didn't notice the tinnitus before the spike, that's how mild the baseline is. That's like telling someone you didn't notice a pin prick on your hand when they're standing there with a bloody deep gash on their arm.

Hang on let me clarify: My T as from 2012 was mild compared to last 2 weeks. That doesn't mean to say that I didn't had to habituate back in 2012.

If you had already heard it helped, Jeffrey who joined yesterday, why didn't you try it long ago? Why wait? What kind of T do you have, how severe is it, what caused it, and how long have you had it? We need comparative measures here to assess this oil's efficacy.

Sorry Cheza I am new here. Im a young fella, 22, and have had tinnitus for two months now. My dad sent me the email about his friend using CBD oil just last week, I had university midterms then, and that is why I am looking into it now. My tinnitus isnt so severe, maybe a 3.5 out of 10 but it is still incredibly troublesome and annoying. Its high pitched, around 14khz. I am not so sure about the cause of my tinnitus, I believe it is from a eustachian tube dysfunction combined with a couple very loud club nights around the same time. But who knows. I am having AM101 injections done oct 15th-17th, so I will try the CBD oil before then and let you know how it goes. My local dispensary sells the CBD-only oil and my friend has a card, so I will ask him to buy it.

I really feel for anyone who has tinnitus, but I know we will find a cure soon. Between the millions of kids in my generation who grew up with blasting i-pods and the increasing amount of veterans coming home crippled with bad tinnitus there will be more and more demand for a cure. Combine that with the incredible progress we have seen in medical research throughout the past couple decades and things begin to look really good. We have autifony and Am101 in the works and I believe so many more will spring up soon. We just gotta hang tight. Hopefully this oil will help in the meantime :)

Anyhow I will stop talking and get my friend to get that CBD oil!

Hey drecul after you got the wax out, was your eardrum inflamed and red? Mine was when Doc washed out my wax that was compacted like yours but my T didnt go away.

I think he means that T is mostly noticed when it is silent so in an ironic way it is true.
Nope.

"Cause: silence
No obvious reason for T start. No depression, no loud noise - most likely is 3 weeks of silence at night after moving to thick walled granite cottage in Cornwall. Quickly sold house and moved - because of T."

PS. click's a she :)

No he didn't mention anything and he looked several times. I could not believe the amount of shit he got out there, at one moment I asked him whether my ear canals started at my toes or not.

I might have spoken too soon I experienced a faint hiss but it is hard to tell , could be my ears are still blocked with water, could be still the hearing loss or the THC. But then it is nothing compared to what I have experienced before.
I guess time will tell. If this is the only thing than it is 100 times better than it was.

The weird thing is every now and you think what that sound, whats that hiss , oh it's the wind (I was sitting in the sun in the garden) So you get kind of paranoid everytime you hear a sound you can't locate.

I see ;) I turning 47 in a month I'm getting a bit slow these days. No pun intended Click! ;)

Hey @Drecul

sorry to hear that.. You are having quite a roller coaster ride these days... So unpredictable this condition..

Why do you think it came back ? Louder than before ?

Really hope it goes down again mate..

My T is back and loud this time.

I've come to think that this is the worse side of T... the fact that it fools us into thinking it has gone & then returns, often with increased ferocity.

Mine was silent all day yesterday (after a quiet little humm first thing on waking). By midnight I could hardly believe that I actually had tinnitus. And every time there's a piece of me that quietly hopes that 'this will be it' - that it's gone forever.

It's back today. I'm trying to program and the damned thing is screeching. I'm not anxious, I'm just SO annoyed that my brain has to try & think around an incessant noise. Real work is made so much harder and so I try and do the simple stuff on days like today. I don't really enjoy the simple stuff.

Hope you're coping Drecul. You never know, it may disappear again. Often the effect of something on T is delayed & your ear wax removal could mean that in a few weeks T becomes a distant memory. I hope so.
