Hi nomoredreaming. I live only 11 or so miles from Derby. I'm so sorry you feel so down right now. What is your T like and how did you get it?

Hi nomoredreaming,
I have TMJ,
Have you had a mouth guard made by the dentist or Maxillofacial specialist ? ...lots of love glynis

It keeps the pressure off your jaw at night.
make sure you cut food up small and dont over bite like a apple just cut it in half.
A soft food diet is good.
My jaw cracks really bad and being refured for the third time so might be botox or an opp unless make me a day guard...lots of love glynis (had a jaw problem 34 years now )

Hi again nomoredreaming,

If you're really having dark thoughts, you must get an ambulance or get to A and E if you can. I'm not in your head but it's what I've done twice this year and I was referred to a crisis team which at least allowed some time to get other people involved. I know you have children but It's not ideal to be otherwise alone or feel that you're alone. Perhaps you have good friends who can come round even at this time. Talking is good. It depends on how bad you feel. I have good days and bad.

My tinnitus came after three years of stress and being a home carer for my mum. She had a lot of problems and was pretty helpless and she died last Xmas. It has been a terrible year since although my tinnitus is mild and I only really hear it in the quiet or in silence. However, my reaction has been very bad due to me being an anxious and obsessive type and it has wrecked 2015 for me.

I have medication to sleep plus a noise machine and a CD player that I use to play relaxation stuff on. My goal is to get used to it but I'm still not there and have had months of panic attacks. Having to deal with losing a mother and tinnitus is not easy.

Jonathan
