Azelastine HCl — Can It Make Tinnitus Worse? Is It Ototoxic?

I just saw this thread. Azelastine HCl has done wonders for me. It is only effective if your tinnitus is not due to nerve damage. It's more so for Eustachian tube dysfunction. I was getting desperate for any kind of relief in October 2018; I went to a local doctor to see if I had earwax that needed to be removed (which was not the case), and he prescribed me Azelastine HCl. It immediately worked for me and has been my golden ticket for relief. It almost makes the ringing go completely away. I don't even notice it anymore. I'll go to sleep without any background noise for the most part. I've been using it ever since. You may have different results; who knows?
