It's accurate: they did report complete elimination of their T. It's unfortunate that it didn't stay that way of course, but I didn't think it was expected to stay that way (I read that the expectation would be to use the device regularly because of the way it works).
The reason why it didn't hold may be because spondylosis/osteoarthritis and/or kyphosis/hypolordosis/military neck wasn't addressed first. If sound changes with movement then several things could connect with that. It could be the upper m. trapezius, masseter and sternocleidomastoid muscles. Issue of the spine/joints will place stress and pressure on cervical muscles.
