Caroverine remains a big mistery.

I remember I sent an e-mail on November 27th, 2014 to the company Phafag, the sponsor of this study, to ask for the results. They never replied me. By the way, the company's website is very minimalist (www.phafag.at) but it markets a product named Tinnitin for tinnitus. (http://www.phafag.at/tinnitin/).

I also sent an e-mail on January 6th, 2015 to Landeskrankenhaus Feldkirch, the investigator (medical center) of this study, to ask for the results. They replied me the day after:

Dear Frederic,
Thank you for writing us. I am very sorry to tell you that we canceled the trial in the end of 2010, because the company (Phafag) that initiated the trial broke down. So we are unfortunately not able to present you any results. Yours sincerely
Joachim Kronberger

Two studies conducted by Klaus Ehrenberger, from the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, University of Vienna, Austria, with conclusive results.

I sent an e-mail to Klaus Ehrenberger on January 26th, 2016, to find out where his studies have been since these last encouraging results. He never replied me.

The indian company Lincoln Pharmaceuticals Ltd entered into an agreement with Phafag AG, Switzerland, for its Caroverine molecule for the treatment of Tinnitus. It now markets Caroverine under the brandname Tinnex.

I sent an e-mail to Lincoln Pharmaceuticals on January 8th, 2015 to ask if they are keen on marketing Tinnex outside India (especially in France). They did not reply to me.

Tinnex is used by a family member in India. She is 68 years old and got Tinnitus suddenly. She says she had it for 6 months and used Tinnicar for 2 months and also did breathing exercises for 15 mins everyday. She says her tinnitus is gone for good.
