Certain noises make a wind blowing noise in my right ear such as computer fans spinning and water etc. When I plug my ears I don't hear it. It's way louder and more annoying than my regular T.

Does anyone else have any experience with this?

Hey.. I have the same thing. Right now as I type this I'm listening to music and have a silicone ear plug in my right ear. Without it, I hear a whistle, ringing, distortion, sizzle type sound at certain frequencies and it's as loud as the music.

It's sort of like I'm getting microphone feedback inside my ear. If I plug it up then it goes away but I have to live now with an ear plug in my ear most of the time.

I've had it looked at by a few specialists and they can't do anything for me. No cure. They say it may settle down after awhile. Some days are better than others but it's frustrating and depressing.

I don't have any solutions but I wanted to respond to let you know you're not alone

I have sort of the same thing, but mine reacts to short sounds such as tapping on a plate with spoon. The "tic" sound I'm hearing gets an additional "pfffffp". It's about the same volume as the tapping sound.
