Haha - bring it on. The timing of that post he made will be my dying memory of this thread
Hey @Daniel Lion. Great artwork and music as well. Hoping that one day I'll be able to listen to it again. You take care too.Hi @tpj, this painting, especially the third on the right (hell) reminds me of the image that @Damocles posted from a heavy metal band. Heavy metal art work is amazing. Take care ! P.S. Hieronymus Bosch painted this in 1490:

Haha, nice. I love creepy, abandoned places. If you can find them, post them!Seems we're into similar things @SamRosemary (except the tomatoes and celery!).
This is cool. There's a place near me called 'the docks'. Former shipbuilding dock which hasn't been used since Thatcher shafted Scotland's industrial industry, yeah, cheers Maggie
Anyway, it has an interesting abandoned work shed. I have pictures somewhere, I'll try to dig them out.
That one is at Prado Museum in Madrid. It's one of my favourite paintings.Hi @tpj, this painting, especially the third on the right (hell) reminds me of the image that @Damocles posted from a heavy metal band. Heavy metal art work is amazing. Take care ! P.S. Hieronymus Bosch painted this in 1490:

Yeah, me too, you don't really appreciate the scale of this place until you're walking around it. Here's one photo from walking about...Haha, nice. I love creepy, abandoned places. If you can find them, post them!
I looked up a negroni. Next time I'm out I'll have to ask for one I'm okay with rolling home.
No amount of UI experience makes up for AI these days.Reading these emails almost daily for the past 10 months is really doing me in. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Over 15 years of experience in UI design and web development.
Can't wait for the Netflix adaptation of this. By that 4th paragraph, I was captivated.Someone up there likes me -- sort of maybe.
YOU @Damocles are an absolute pisser!
I'm sorry things are as bad as they are for you right now. I don't mind telling you and the world that about 18 months ago the situation my side became so low with tinnitus so bloody loud, grating and unrelenting that one evening I broke down in tears at home and literally smashed my head against the wall. It was like I wanted to smash the goddam noise in my skull into a million boney pieces.A genuine sincere well done and appreciation for those of you who have donated, there were a fair few and you let it be known and rightly so!
In regards to this comment, from what I've seen post wise from @Damocles, I believe he means no malicious intent.
However, it did strike a bit of a chord as I am one of those who is unable to donate and my displease around the lack of ability to do so was amplified after reading the comment.
I've not worked for months, my business is destined to collapse very shortly. I'm not even sure if I can pay the staff I have left this month. Let alone all the bills and house payments I have to pay for myself. Just another burden created by tinnitus leading to the spiralling anxiety and depression.
Thank you for sharing that, you didn't need to go out of your way to do so. To which I'm extremely grateful for.I'm sorry things are as bad as they are for you right now. I've got some property that I rent out and do general maintenance on that so loud powertools at times (double hearing protection) but nothing like working on site and certainly not as prolonged as an 8 - 10 hour day.Being self-employed, out of curiosity if you don't mind sharing, what is it you do/did? I'm a tradesman so the likelihood of me going back into building sites and resuming my career seems unlikely at this point.
Those are the best earmuffs on the market in terms of noise attenuation for that price: Peltor Optime III. And very comfortable to wear. Wearing them helped me a lot too at the darkest of times. This was the the same make -- Peltor, but Optime III -- heavy duty ones, maybe for the guy who works a pneumatic drill. And yes they work well for the lower frequencies too. It gives me a great feeling of empowerment that when a string of these dudes ride by in a roar of low frequency decibels, I can handle it no bother if I get the earmuffs on in time. They are kind of, ummm... big... but they certainly do the job.
I'm taking Amitriptyline for sleepI'll go to hell for laughing at this Amitriptyline joke.

Yes! Someone I was with did most of the upstairs exploring as I was afraid of the floor condition lol. They said it looked like someone was sitting on a chair in one of the rooms. Which it could have actually been a person, who knows. Was it spooky?
I love watching people explore abandoned properties on YouTube. Adam Mark Explores is a good one. Shame where I live there doesn't seem to be many abandoned properties for me to have a mooch around!
