The blue macaw is such an unusual mutation. Wow.
Nice to meet you too, mate! Nope. Even the sound of chewing hurts my ears lol. We'll see how life will turn out.Marcel Mercury it is.... nice to meet you ha
Yeah mate that sucks, I'm sorry. Can you listen to any chilled tunes, nothing with a crazy bass?
I think so. Very true btw... I remember when a couple of indian ringnecks escaped from the zoo in my city; they adapted within a matter of months. I see them flying everywhere nowadays, which is pretty crazy because they're basically tropical birds and the weather here is similar to that in the UK... They've been reproducing like crazy. Survival of the fittest huh.I've never seen anything like that mutation, it's amazing, he looks so not bothered either, I'm guessing it's somebody's pet or in a sanctuary. It's amazing how animals adapt so easily, wish the same could be said about us humans. We adapt to a certain degree but T and H is one perfect example how hard is can be to adapt....
edit: now I'm looking up mutations in animals haha
Ho-ly shit
Thats sh#t man, hyperacusis is a beast and add in tinnitus and it can wear the strongest of wills down. I'm hopeful for the future though in terms of something to at least take the volume down and to help heal the sensitivity, maybe I'm naive but I do think we will see something soon especially in terms of a "Lenire" type of device (I'll wait until I see the results from Lenire before I say anything haha) or treatment/pill but I'm still unsure about something that will totally erase tinnitus.Nice to meet you too, mate! I recently read about this very rare blue mutation of the Eclectus parrot. It's supposedly only found on one island somewhere, and they're really expensive. Beautiful birds.

I have moderate tinnitus and visual snow as well, but I find the severe hyperacusis to be the most debilitating. I don't think it's naive, perhaps a bit optimistic, but optimism is necessary during difficult times. I know I really need it right now! I agree on the neuromodulation part, that seems to be quite popular in science, so who knows...Thats sh#t man, hyperacusis is a beast and add in tinnitus and it can wear the strongest of wills down. That's actually amazing mate, really interesting. Have they not tried to capture them? Doesn't surprise me that they are adapting ha and reproducing it definitely is survival of the fittest especially in the animal kingdom.
Those birds look amazing, the colour combos are so striking. Birds always have the most amazing colour pallets and more Importantly ears that regenerate the sensory hair cells

I'm not sure, actually. I think the municipality just let it be haha. As far as I know, they're not a threat to the ecosystem here. Colour combinations are indeed really amazing, I love the fact that the birds can see even 'more' in those colours (apparently it's important in identifying other bird species). Yeah, I'm extremely jealous of their ability to do that... Why can't we regenerate hair cells again? The most ridiculous part is that we actually have progenitor (stem) cells that could differentiate into new hair cells. WHY ARE THEY INACTIVE???
May I ask where you get these pictures from?

I worked for a man who had over 200 species of birds, everything from exotic parrots to Asian owls which are quite large. We had 8 pairs of Scottish red grouse which I was the first person to get them to produce chicks. We were told they wouldn't breed in captivity but if you let nature do its thing it will work. If I knew how to upload pictures of them I would do so. I have short videos of them talking. But only using a mobile phone I've not a clue. They are all my pets Elmer, I have a huge sanctuary....Just messing mate, I wish I did.
I just look for them online, type in whatever I want to see and then choose the ones I like.
That sounds like all cats... well the ones I've met haha they seem to take a dislike to me not sure why most animals love me. They are too independent for me, as in do whatever the f they want haha they are beautiful creatures to look at though.

So I thought I'd make some people happy. Here's Cinder's Yellowstone hike!
We're at the top before the decent. She's people watching.

Sun finally came out and she loves the feel of the warm metal to that wood railing. Though she's not thrilled about the wet spots from the rain shower from earlier.

We're just a turn away from the bottom of the falls. Which is when I put her in her carrier, because the roar of the falls is super intimidating. Plus, this was our "last chance to pet Cinder" stop. People were obsessed with her.

That's one beautiful looking cat, those pictures are really good, not sure what I like more the view or the cat haha she looks so wary as well haha
Don't worry about talking about your cats too much, have you seen the crap I post and write about haha I like people being loving and excited about their pets, it shows me what type of person they are. I definitely agree with its how the animal is raised, certain breeds of dogs get such a bad rap and most of the time it's actually their owners not training them properly or mistreating them.
That was lovely of your mother to do that for you and happy you knew how to deal with her, pets can bring us so much comfort and joy, I couldn't be without now.
Ha I'd be petting Cinder as well especially in her little harness haha love it Shera
He was a private owner, the cost of feed and the different medication that was required to keep them healthy was more than a normal person would make in a year. I really enjoyed being around the different breeds of birds.Nice, that must of cost him a good few pennies to feed them all, Was it his own private sanctuary? That's amazing, love the fact you got them to breed.
Yeah that would be great to see, don't worry about uploading the videos. If the videos are on your phone it's easy to upload, if not I wouldn't worry about it.

Can you explain the process of uploading from my phone.
Thanks, I see you are in the UK, I'm across the water from you in Ireland.
What's she saw in the bush to attack haha mate I love that sweater on her haha shes gorgeous

Well I figured how to upload them but when I went to do it it said the video was too large to load. Oh well, but when the Male grouse get to talking it's something else. It's like they are saying "we're through" or f$#k off.I bet it cost a fortune to feed them all, some would have expensive dietary requirements. Has he still got the sanctuary?
I thought I knew but I actually don't haha I only know how to upload a video from YouTube etc not sure how to actually upload a video from my phone??
Maybe save your video onto your downloads on your phone then possibly try to drag it onto here as if you were going to reply to somebody? Sorry Elmer had a brain freeze I'm not actually sure??
Yeah cool, I love Ireland. Where abouts are you?
