Chlorella and Tinnitus

I quickly found at least one or two anecdotes on the internet of people reporting changes in pitch/volume after using chrlorella for a while. Of course the same is true of any number of other things.

Still safer to dick around with than trobalt or benzos or something!

Agreed. It's worthing trying and far safer than benzos.

Some doctors are saying it's not safe to take chlorella when you have dental amalgam fillings. Is this right? They advice to take amalgams out first before you take chlorella.

is the theory because chlorella as a chelator can redistribute mercury throughout the body? Isn't chelation what you want if you have free mercury floating around?

I've not seen that in relation to chlorella, but it is definitely not advised to take the more hardcore chelators like DMSA or DMPS since they apparently encourage mercury to leave your fillings more quickly, causing greater problems. My understanding was that chlorella binds mainly to mercury in your stomach/intestines, so would not leach it out of your fillings. But I could be wrong (foggy memory being a symptom of mercury poisoning after all!!!). Do you have a link? I'd be very interested to see, since I currently have one mercury filling left (four removed) and take chlorella daily. Thanks.

Edit: In Alison Adams book The Natural Recovery plan she recommends chlorella as a precursor to filling removal. Some of her ideas seem a bit flaky, others quite well researched. Check here:
