I've only merely reached out to them and explained them my situation, and asked if there's any hope with their treatment. They believe there is. I'm going there for something other than tinnitus, something that has yet to be classified as an official disorder. I chose to go with StemCells21 based on the reports I've seen on this forum though. 3/4 cases was a success and these people apparently never came back on the forum again once their success story was out. It is supposedely the place to go to. The cheapest you can go infusion-wise is €6000 EUR. I haven't looked further into it than that.

If you're only one month in, I hate to say, let time work its magic. Protect your ears for now, and wait it out. I definitely would wait a bit and see if things calm down. But keep us posted!

Let us know if you do it. Keep us posted. Hoping it can help noxacusis along with the tinnitus. The tricky thing for me would be getting over there for sure.

So I sent the study to StemCells21 and asked them if they could perform a "surface transplantation.

Their response was:

"The technique that we use for Neurologic conditions as follows:

Intravenously
Intranasal Inhalation
Intrathecal Injections

There will be Intramuscular Injections of mRNA Peptide too which we can give Brain peptide, Neuropeptide, Placenta peptide and etc accordingly."

I am waiting till the FDA approves stem cell treatment for hearing damage. Good news like this is always welcome to read about. Thank you for posting this.

I really thought 100 MSCs will be around $25k USD but it turned out to be pricey ($38k USD) Converted in my local currency it is 66k which I can take a loan for but I will not manage to pay it alongside with the rent... I do not know what to do but I still think this is my only shot.

With the successes in other countries it makes a progressively stronger argument that stem cell treatments for tinnitus and other conditions are a step forward. I'd go to Europe or elsewhere if I had the money to do so.

No, it's because there are no proper clinical trials for this yet.

And I speak as someone who is going to get stem cell secretome treatment soon.

I have auditory neuropathy and distorted hearing is my main concern. My audiograms are good, my otoacoustic emissions are also good. Tinnitus is annoying, but I'd rather have some of my hearing back, if I were given a choice.

So no, they do not accept tinnitus patients, unfortunately. There is much more evidence for stem cells exosomes/secretome helping neuropathies and neurodegenerative disorders compared to tinnitus.

Early to say, but from what I have read, very few cells do actually engraft in damaged tissue if administered systemically, however, tissue regeneration is seen. A similar effect is achieved with stem cell exosomes, so it points to paracrine effects being the dominant factor.

I've read on people getting treatments for conditions like cancer and some neurological disorders in Europe and Asia with stem cells either being a part of or the main component of the treatment.

That being said I do not know any links to them.

I'm thinking about doing this. I just want to get the most expensive one because I recently had a big win with work. I was thinking about the German one too. The clinic in Bangkok just sounds kinda dodgy but the experiences here have all been positive, or safe at least. I want to research it more but am strongly considering doing it. My tinnitus isn't super loud but does fluctuate a lot and my hyperacusis is kinda bad too. I'd love to make it even a little bit better. If I can get enough proof that the clinic in Bangkok is at least providing a safe procedure then I will be very likely to go get it done.

Well, for one, they claim to treat autism with stem cells (really unproven at this point).

Another reason is stuff like bogus scans they do while you're there 'to show problem areas in your body'. I remember those from pictures another Tinnitus Talk member had posted of their trip to SC21.

A quick Google-search on the effect of stem cells on autism suggests that it does improve the symptoms in most cases. Of course that information may not be reliable, but Google is usually upfront about false information, and it looks like it's being studied in clinical settings with some papers to prove it. To me it doesn't sound too unrealistic either. It is a neurological disorder of some sort after all, right?
