Cophylac for Coughing: Ototoxic?

Dear all,

I've been suffering from a bad cough for the past week : can't sleep because the cough wakes me up several times at night!

I saw the doctor this morning ==> it's a virus and it will go away but in the meantime, I can take a syrup known as COPHYLAC (15 drops a day)

Is it ototoxic? I'm scared of taking anything as the cause of my tinnitus is meds ==> antidepressant in 2007 and Biaxin (clarithromycin) in 2014.
