Cut in Mouth — Was Suggested to Use Salt Water or Listerine — Can Either Make Tinnitus Worse? Scared

Hi, in order to treat an abrasion/cut in my mouth, it was suggested to rinse with salt water or Listerine. I'm afraid to do either, and I realize that my paranoia is reaching new heights. The last thing I need in an infected cut. Opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

So what happened with your situation @Brooklyn NY? Using either method without ingesting it should help stop any infections and tinnitus spikes if they occur will be very short in duration.
