My daughter has had an ear infection for about a week, only managed to get her an appointment today, there's no fluid coming out her ear, she's been given antibiotics for a week for the past 2 days she says she can hear an alarm in her ears, does anyone no if it will go after her course of antibiotics, starting to feel like we're a doomed family with me having tinnitus and my son having it on and off, now my daughter, I'm starting to panic. Is there anything else I should be doing for her?

Hard to say whether it will go or not after the infection clears, sadly nobody can give a definitive answer on that but what you can do is the following,
-Give her NAC
-Vit B12
-Magnesium
-Don't allow any water in or around her ears
-Keep her ears away from loud sounds
-Get her to excercise to increase blood flow to the ears
-Wrap a hot water bottle in a blanket and get her to rest her infected ear on it(eases discomfort)
-Give her hot steamy baths to clear the sinuses
-Let plenty of air get in around the ears, just walks in the cold air will do don't go blowing in her ears or anything crazy like that, this helps keep moisture building up in the ear, sitting in hot environments increases the amount of moisture inside the ear canal which is a breathing ground for bacteria and infections.

Now I have no idea how old your daughter is so much of this is probably not applicable to her if she's very young.
