While not explicitly related to tinnitus, thought I'd share this either way; Mandy Harvey is a deaf American jazz singer and songwriter, and her absolutely breathtaking performance on America's Got Talent resulted in some serious awareness of deafness / hearing issues as a result, too. Plus, last but not least, it's just an inspiring story.

Currently the video on Facebook alone has nearly 90M views (and on YouTube another 5M+):

That's amazing. I think I actually started crying. Being a musician too.
 
"TRY"....A great title choice for the song she wrote. She made me think of that old saying, "Winners don't quit and quitters don't win." She's most definitely a winner and an inspiration to all who are afflicted in some way whether it be physically, mentally or both.

That really is amazing. Thanks for sharing! Singing while deaf is even more impressive than composing music while deaf.

She said she had a connective tissue disorder. I wonder if it was EDS or something else.
