I recently caught a fever last week and I think I may have developed tinnitus in my good ear. I have already had tinnitus in my right ear from almost two years ago. The sounds I hear in that ear are a constant high pitched ringing and it's also very sensitive to loud noises.
I was very congested and had a runny nose. I blew my nose and immediately felt some pressure in my left ear. Ever since then, I think I may have developed a very low ringing in my good ear. It seems pretty normal when I'm surrounded by noises. When it's quiet though I can hear a very low hiss every once in a while.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this while they were sick and if you have, did it eventually go away?
