Doc Said My Tinnitus Is Most Likely from TMJ

should I change my picture to a fluffy bunny or some shit. No one ever replies to my threads :p.... really hoping this shit goes away when I start wearing a guard.
That one's easy. You need to post an avatar of a hot girl and then you will get all kind of responses.
Plus, you would be a fluffier bunny if you didn't swear so much god dammit.;)

What I would like to know is how there is any proof TMJ causes tinnitus? I would say those with tinnitus have other contributing factors. If true, I would say in vast minority. Then there is the reversibility aka curing of T once the pony is out of the stable. Not a high success rate. Hope springs eternal tho. I mean we have a lot of time to try stuff. :bored: Each of us can try standing our heads before bed time as well...may have the same net effect. Btw, anybody here trying brake dancing to cure their tinnitus?

Good luck brother.

There is quite some proof that TMJ can cause T. How it exactly works isn't known but dense muscles and nerves can stress eachother. My right ear is 40-85% less after 2 years of TMJ treatment.
I have the proof on my harddrive and posted various articles in the "facial pain" treat as PDF. However, it's not a simple fix.

Thanks for your post Codaz.
So would you say based upon your research and personal experience, if TMJ facial pain is resolved with therapy, can tinnitus therefore be reversed? I ask because I suspect an injury to my inferior alveolar nerve aka mandible nerve which manifests personal jaw pain on my RHS may be a contributor to my tinnitus.
