I had the pleasure of my final radiation/chemotherapy treatment today @ 11:00am my time. Now it's a bit of a waiting game and follow up CT scans and MRI's to get the final outcome. This period of time is more of a healing period as the radiation/chemo will continue to work for the next few weeks even tho I am done these treatments. It will be sooooo nice to begin to heal from the radiation burns. The last couple of months have been hard just to sit down more than 30 minutes at a time.

To EVERYONE here on Tinnitus Talk, I wish to thank you for all your well wishes, prayers and uplifting notes that helped to cope during this all. Personally I feel like I gave this bad boy a run for the money and have ejected this hitchhiker from any further damage to my body.

I am now looking forward to getting back on track with the Cochlear Implant surgery as quickly as possible. It would be nice to get the all clear by the end of winter or early spring and once again be added to the waiting list for the implant. As far as my tinnitus?? I'm sure you can all imagine it would be great to have some relief from it all however it is low on my priority list now.

Best wishes with all you are enduring with tinnitus. It is no easy thing to live with. I hope you can all remain positive and in time learn to make friends with the noises.

Mike
