Stress does drag us down..and sadly, age us. I feel I have aged in the last 2 months just due to grief, let alone t and h over years. What can you do? Just learn to manage the stress better I guess....but I can't believe people are telling you that, it's just rude. You look pretty in your pp :)

Yes, especially in the last year since the continuous loss of sleep has really worn me down, plus the stress of being so nonproductive and unable to get much of anything done. I used to get compliments frequently, but not anymore. I look tired all the time and I've aged at least 5 years in the last 2. :(

Yes. But t is so scary. I don't give a f^€&. Can't eat. Losing weight. Hollowing out. Pale. Shaved my head bald pouring oils on it. I never cried. I cry everyday.

Not sure, had some weird thing with light acne developing just a month prior to my T which makes my skin look a little tired sometimes. Since my bf more or less live with me, he goes to bed late and sometimes he keeps me up by making a lot of noise, which leads to less sleep for me. So I look mostly tired, but people often think I am younger than I am. But that is due to my Asian heritage more than anything else :)

I am starting to get grey hair. Im 20 lol.
and I dont mean 1 grey hair but a bunch....:oldman:

I do get older. I'm just 24 for the God's sake. I supposed not to deal with this T sh*t instead I should make the most of me and enjoy the life! We will never have this life again someone needs to stop this thing!

haven't aged but have stopped caring a little about how i look.... used to go gym that stopped in the initial days when really was at lowest ebb .... hopefully may restart ..... mentally challenging !!!!

I must have aged 6 years since I got tinnitus in 2010.
Sorry I couldn't resist it.
On a serious note though, severe lack of sleep, anxiety and stress definitely knocks the stuffing out of you and makes you feel older, if not look older.

My tinnitus started in Feb 2016. I look like I've aged by about two months I would say.

....sorry I'll get my coat.

But seriously for some reason I think I also look more handsome!

I lost weight over the stress so I look better now, which makes it so much harder for people to believe I am sick and dying inside.

Me too. Tinnitus has created more character in my face.
Here is a quick video of me as proof positive:

I lost a lot of weight through stress due to tinnitus. However due to better diet and less drinking I've been told I look younger and healthier than before. Suppose that's an upside :)

I lost 15 lbs and then gained 25 back from drinking to cope.

I'm slowly getting my shit together, but yes - I looked like hell for a while.

the stress and lack of caring on appearance... too focused on tinnitus to care.... never happened in my life. always dressed up . sigh...

Sadly (or fortunately?) I look better than I ever have. I was obese as a child and horrible at sports... now I'm an adult who's been lifting weights/exercising for years (well before tinnitus onset 4 years ago) and now I have a low bf %, more muscle than I ever had, and I've become extremely fast. Makes it more frustrating when I'm dealing with out of shape doctors who clearly think, psh, he looks good on the outside, he must be doing fantastic on the inside!

Guess what, mental health and physical health aren't perfectly correlated 1:1. I'm proof of that.
